Professional Statement
I am an experienced carpenter/joiner with just over 12 years experience in the trade. During this
time I have managed to build knowledge in numerous areas from bespoke joinery to site carpentry.
I started as an apprentice and from there stayed with the same company for 10 years producing
high quality bespoke joinery for commercial, retail and residential markets. As each project was
unique I was able to hone and improve my skills with each one, finishing every task to the high
standard I pride myself on when working on a project. Following this I gained further experience
in a different setting by joining a company as an on site carpenter. This role provided me with an
excellent understanding of what is entailed in erecting Timber buildings, from roofing to
insulating to fitting indoor fixtures such as doors and skirting.

Overseeing and completing a project from start to finish including receiving the plans and
drawings, ordering and booking out materials needed, planing and machining timber profiles, and
finishing the task in the required time period to a high quality.
