preparation, large scale fermentation of aerobic bacteria,

 In 1986 became the Safety Representative for the Association
of Managerial and Professional Staff (AMPS).
As the Safety Representative, was involved in accident
investigations, safety inspections and attended Safety
committee meetings where safety issues were discussed and
working practices were reviewed in light of new information.
