Meets for 4 Weeks (January 2 through January 27, 2017)
$25 per class for 4 weeks
Intro to Fitness
This class is perfect for those who have little to no experience with fitness
equipment. A basic, full-body workout will be taught based on each
participant’s abilities.
Total Body Workout
This circuit training class targets the main muscle groups, with a cardio
workout built-in using a variety of equipment including resistance
machines, weights, exercise balls, and cardio machines.
Stretch and Flex
Learn how to alleviate painful muscle aches through proper stretching
techniques of the main muscle groups, deep breathing and relaxation
exercises.
Body Basics – Improving Your Posture and Core
Strengthen your core muscles to improve posture, walking, standing,
balance, cardiovascular health, and back pain with guided exercises
targeting various muscles of the core and upper back.
Sit and Be Fit – Post Stroke
This class is designed for individuals with limited mobility and for those
who use adaptive equipment like a walker, cane, or wheelchair. A mix of
low-intensity exercises will be performed from a seated position including
cardio, weights, and stretching.
Absolute Energy
Intervaled cardio and resistance training class, mixing high and low
intensity exercises that promote fitness, toning, and weight-loss.
Participants will learn how to find and monitor their heart rate to measure
exercise intensity and reach their fitness goals.
Total Body Workout Light
The same benefits of Total Body Workout, but at a slower pace with light
cardio exercises.The majority of exercises will be performed from a
seated position.

Core Fundamentals
With a focus on your mid-section while strengthening the lower back,
abdominals and obliques will be developed using floor and mat
exercises, fitness machines and exercise balls.
Strike a Balance
Engage the muscles needed for balance, with exercises to strengthen
them, and improve body awareness with standing balance exercises
using equipment such as stability balls, foam balance pads, and dyna
discs.
Meets for 6 Weeks (January 2 through February 10, 2017)
$40 per class for 6 weeks
