2. PROBLEMS FACED AND THINGS THAT
WENT WELL
▸As a group the main problems we faced when filming the video was availability. During the
winter months when we filmed all our footage it gets dark very quickly and two member of
the group work on weekends. This meant it was hard to find a time for us to meet up and
get good shots
▸Another problem we faced was making it look professional. Trying to find locations that fit
the grand theme we had in mind was a hurdle but in the end we managed to find a middle
class area with large houses to film in.
▸We did however get a lot of filming done when we managed to meet up as we had well
planned ideas. This meant we could get straight to editing and making sure we didn’t need
to re-film anything.
▸In terms of editing the clicks throughout the video made it really easy to have clean precise
cuts and also makes the transitions seem more effective. We overall glad we chose Lorde
Royals as our song choice.
3. EDITING
▸In terms of editing the software I used made it a lot easier to try
and get the professional look we had wished for. It offered many
effects and transitions to aid us in making a successful music
video.
▸Furthermore, we knew that we had to take many shots at different
angles making the editing process a lot easier as we had a lot of
footage to chose from.
▸Last year we had a problem with the software we used as last
minute it rejected our free trial. Having a good quality and free
software this year meant we didn’t have to worry about this.
