Organize and Convene the Platform & Resolutions Committee meetings at least once a year to review
submissions from the district
Represent the district at the state meetings as the member of the Platform & Resolutions Committee for the
North Carolina Democratic Party from the 13th

Chair each year the portion of the District Convention that deals with matters brought forth from the
Platform & Resolutions Committee of the district
Bobi Gregory for North Carolina House, Campaign Manager – February 28, 2014 to November 15, 2014 –
Wilson, North Carolina
Inspired, focused , trained and guided my mother for her first-ever run for political office, maintaining a
tight schedule from start to finish, garnering over 10,000 votes in a tough rural Eastern North Carolina
house district
Managed the communications throughout the campaign, issuing many press releases, writing speeches in
my mother’s voice, as well as managing a strong social media presence
Managed a very efficient budget of $12,000 to raise awareness of my mother’s candidacy, yielding nearly
40% of the vote
Designed and maintained a website with high daily traffic in a very difficult race against a Republican
incumbent
Ron Sanyal for U.S. Congress, District 13, Communications Director – January 17, 2014 to May 16, 2014

Issued multiple press releases for Mr. Sanyal to all media outlets in the congressional district
Designed and maintained a valuable website for the campaign with frequent updates and upgrades
Traveled with and acted as a surrogate for Mr. Sanyal at many functions within the congressional district
during the primary
Mark Bibbs for North Carolina House, Consultant/Communications Director – June to November, 2012 –
Wilson, North Carolina
Issued campaign communications such as emails, social media posts and press releases often at the
candidate’s pleasure
Handled daily physical aspects of the campaign such as setting up/breaking down campaign tent at early
voting site, festival locations, as well as assembly and distribution of campaign materials such as brochures
& signs
Traveled with and acted as a surrogate for Mr. Bibbs at many functions throughout the district
2. Wilson County Democratic Party, Chair – April 16, 2011 to April 20, 2013 – Wilson, North Carolina
Led the county party into a third successful election cycle in a row by communicating with precinct
officials and allowing them to lead in their precincts
Started, designed and maintained a highly engaging county party website featuring events and valuable
precinct resources
Acted as the “voice” of the county party in a presidential election cycle with consistent interaction with the
media to establish the goals and issue concerns of Democrats
Led by example to work to include all Democrats of the county after years of a lack of unity & inclusion
Represented the county party as the automatic member of the State Executive Committee (SEC) at all state
party SEC meetings
Wilson County Democratic Party, First Vice-Chair – August 28, 2010 to April, 16 2011 – Wilson, North

Closely communicated with precinct officers and activists to organize 22 out of 24 precincts in preparation
for the 2011 County Convention (previously 6 out of 24 precincts for years)
Planned and organized the 2011 Wilson County Democratic Party County Convention
“Moving NC Forward” Coordinated Campaign, NC Democratic Party, Field Organizer– September to
November 2010– Wilson, North Carolina
Helped to successfully protect 7 out of 8 Democratic Representatives in Congress
Helped to generate 2,200,134 voter contact attempts (average of 39,288 attempts per staffer)
Managed a turf composed of two counties with total eligible voter population of at least 123,385
Managed one of 23 counties that went for U.S. Senate candidate Secretary of State Elaine Marshall and
returned two Democratic representatives to the NC House
North Carolina Campaign for Change, Intern Field Organizer – September to November 2008 – Wilson,
North Carolina
Worked with a team that delivered record turnout in Wilson County, delivering the county for all
Democrats, as one of the last two counties to go for Senator Obama
Helped to register more than 1,600 new voters in Wilson County for the Nov. 4 election
Assisted Field Organizer Jon Dynes with daily goals and tasks including logistics
Collaborated with Office Manager Bettie Lucas to ensure the efficiency of our joint office
Student Peace Alliance, Tabling Coordinator – June to August 2008 – Raleigh, North Carolina
Recruited and trained a team of five to assist with the tabling event
Remained in contact with key Student Peace Alliance (SPA) contacts to distribute tickets, confirm
shipment of necessary materials and assure the receipt of donations from the event by SPA
Supervised the recording of 200 photo petitions for a United States Department of Peace and the upload of
all petitions to a central SPA sharing site, to be distributed to the appropriate U.S. Representatives
Operation Democracy, Vigil Host/Council Coordinator – March to April 2008 – Albuquerque, New Mexico
Planned, coordinated and hosted a fifth anniversary “New Priorities” Vigil to recognize the costs of the Iraq
War
Collaborated with Operation Democracy contact Kimberly Fountain to organize the revitalized
Albuquerque Operation Democracy Council and allow for future interaction online
