ECCENTRIC TURNING
A new 'Eccentric Turning Model' has been fabricated
in the Machines Workshop for fifth semester
Mechanical students for the KTU pattern of studies.
The material used is Mild Steel. Other large models
will also be fabricated in due course.

Skill Connect Inter State Competition 2017 —A general aptitude test for
engineering students, hosted by Networkz System, Neyyattinkara. S3, S5
& S7 ECE students attended the preliminary level of the examination on
21 st August at DSP Lab.
Young Indians @ Marian Engineering College
Dr. Arun Surendran, as the co-chair of Young Indians, Trivandrum chapter was part of the team of
entrepreneurs who inaugurated the Yi Yuva chapter at Marian Engineering College. The team met with
Rev.Fr. W ilfred who heads the institution and interacted with the S3 students of all branches. The students
were urged to consider starting up their own engineering firms early. The Chair and Co Chair of Yi also
planted a tree on the college campus.
