- 2. Select potatoes perfect for mashing then place your potatoes into a large saucepan and cover them with cold water.
- 3. Wait until the water is boiled then turn it down to a simmer for around 20 minutes
- 4. You can tell when potatoes are ready because you should be able to poke a fork or knife into it the potato and it drops off easily.
- 5. Now you need to drain all the water from the potatoes and start mashing and mixing them together using a hand held mixer.
- 6. This is where you can add your own ingredients to give it a more flavoured taste. You can add a little salt and even pepper. Keep mixing before adding your milk to make it smooth.
- 7. Now all you need to do is place it onto your service plate/bowl and enjoy!
