Various studies agreed that school administrators are responsible for developing the
organization. They lead the whole community to stay committed to the school’s mission, vision,
and standards. They oversee administrative tasks and ensure that the organization is thriving.
While others may think that school administrators should concern the academic achievement
of the learners, they are seen as school managers.
School admins are responsible for the efficient management of the school, the staff, the
teachers, and other stakeholders. They also must ensure that plans and goals were meet and
everyone is accountable. They also manage school facilities and equipment.
How does school administrators ensure the high-quality performance of the organization?
They manage the school finances and budgets. Hence, they are also responsible for
their employee’s payroll, salary, and other monetary benefits.
They are also communicators and take charge in planning for school development and
programs. They must ensure that all are working together to achieve the organization’s
goal.
Administrators also perform other roles such forming policies and curriculums,
measuring the performance of school employees, keeping up with the deadlines and
timelines and monitoring the progress of the organization.

Overseeing the daily school operations and maintenance.
All these roles and responsibilities if accompanied with good leadership skills, can establish
positive school and work culture. They are leaders who manage and handle multiple work
descriptions. They are present from strategic planning, school budgeting, producing school
reports and more. They are also concern with the employees, teachers, learners, and parents’
well-being. Their contributions to the success of the organization are immeasurable. They keep
the organization running smoothly and effectively.
