Ourbeginnings
•It was founded in 1921, July 6, under the name
“Secondary school for girls”
•It initially had a programme of only 3 classes, but later on
it succeeded in obtaining the full general cycle (8 classes)

The first building in which the school functioned

Throughout the years, “Zinca Golescu” bore many
different names, in the end attaining its current title,
“Zinca Golescu” National College

•1326 students, aged from 12 to 19, divided into 8 different grades, along with 73
teachers
Theoretical program:
•Science — Mathematics and Computer programming and Natural Sciences
•Humanities — Social Studies and Philology
•Some classes offer Bilingual program and others intensive computer-science
training.

Our school offers many facilities, among which are the following:
•Physics Laboratory •Biology Laboratory
•Chemistry
Laboratory

And above all, a green space reserved for students!

• Over 99% of our students are passing
baccalaureate and high school admission
national exams, many of them obtaining very
high grades.
• Prizes and honorable mentions received at
national level contests and Olympiads at all
subjects, every year.

99% of our students are accepted after graduation in higher education system becoming specialists in various fields.
