Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your [full]
compensation on the Day of Resurrection. So he who is drawn
away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained [his
desire]. And what is the life of this world except the enjoyment of
delusion.
9. The importance of Halal
• What is Halal? What Sharia has approved is lawful or Halal
• This is a broad title of Sharia which includes Halal food, Halal income
and all permissible things in Islam.

O mankind, eat from whatever is on earth [that is] lawful and good and do not follow the
footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy. (Baqara: 168)
11. • Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger ( ﷺ
) as saying:

• O people, Allah is Good and He therefore, accepts only that which is
good. And Allah commanded the believers as He commanded the
Messengers by saying: "O Messengers, eat of the good things, and
do good deeds; " (xxiii. 51). And He said: "O those who believe, eat
of the good things that We gave you" (ii. 172). He then made a
mention of a person who travels widely, his hair disheveled and
covered with dust. He lifts his hand towards the sky (and thus makes
the supplication): "O Lord, O Lord," whereas his diet is unlawful, his
drink is unlawful, and his clothes are unlawful and his nourishment is
unlawful. How can then his supplication be accepted?
12. • Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger ( ﷺ
) as saying:

.
I swear by him in whose hands is my life, It is better to give soil than to
give haram in the mouth (Mazmaujjawaed, 10: 380)
• Abu Barjah Aslami reported Allah's Messenger ( ﷺ
) as saying:

'Man's feet will not move from their place on the Day of Resurrection
before he is asked about his life, in what did he let it perish? About his
knowledge, what did he do with it? About his wealth, from where did
he earn it, and on what did he spend it? About his body, in what did he
wear it out?'
13. • Mufti taqi Usmani said,
“If someone always thinks in such a way that not even a single taka
haram enters his earnings, and only performs the obligatory worship,
without the opportunity to do Nafal, he will go directly to Paradise.
Another person prays a lot. But not aware of the halal, his worship will
not save him from hell because of the haram.”
• Hala awareness of Salaf:
Abdullah ibn Umor said: العبادۃ

Ibadah besides taking Haram is basically like building a house on
dung/stool.
The greatest piety/Taqwa is
giving up what is forbiddeniHaram.
• Abdullah ibn mubarok said: درهم ألف بمئة أتصدق أن من إلى أحب شبهة من درهم رد
. Giving up a
doubtful dollar is better to me than donating a million dollars.
• Imam Ahmad was asked, through what the hearts are softened? He
said - by taking halal.
• Muslim women used to say,
. Fear Allah concerning us.
We are ready to suffer on hunger but cannot accept the fire of the
Hereafter by taking haram.
15. • Ibnu Ataullah Iskandari said: نسیئة فیجازیه ًانقد العبد یعامله أن ربنا جل
The slave/Bandah will leave Haram in cash, Allah will pay him with the
rest, it will not happen.
• Allah said: نَم َو
