2. REVELATIONS 2:2
I know thy works, and thy labor, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear
them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and
are not and hast found them liars...
3. The Apostle
Qualifications
• Must be born again
• Must be filled, led, controlled and
directed by the Holy Spirit
• Must not be a novice I Timothy 3:6
(these are the qualifications of the
overseer, the Bishop)
• Must demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit
• Must have a working knowledge, if not
possess, the gifts of the Spirit (I
Corinthians 12:4-11)
• Must have a personal encounter with
the risen Christ
4. Qualifications of the Apostle Con't
• Must be given to discipline (this will be manifested in all
areas of ones life)
• Must have order
• Must understand authority (more than just giving orders)
• Must have a strong foundation of the scriptures. Must know
the bible
• Must have a developed ear to hear. Not only hear from
heaven but hear earth.
5. • Must work miracles, perform signs and wonders (2
Corinthians 12:12)
• Must be revelatory: to uncover, reveal make manifest
the hidden things. Must be able to interpret
• Must have an apostolic seal (this is a spiritual seal not
a physical one)
• Must at least meet the qualifications of the office of an
Elder or Bishop. (Titus 1:5-11)
• Must manifest the other ascension gifts in operation
6. The following functions will be demonstrated by
an apostle
• Planting
• Preaching the Gospel
• A Visionary
• Teaching and Instructing
• Surveying foundations of ministries for faulty structures
• Pioneering; initiating new moves in the earth (we'll discuss
this in a bit more details)
7. • Upgrading into present, relevant truths
• Ordaining and Commissioning
• Correcting: bringing correction as one disciples
• Confronting: casting out devils and and everything
that
• Healing
• raising up and developing spiritual sons and
daughters
• Must be given to hospitality
8. The Apostle the
Ambassador
• They are representatives
• Authorized representative
(having the backing of the one
who sent them)
• Has executive odors to
represent in the stead of
• An official of the highest rank
9. Things that are extremely
helpful but may not be
necessary
• Should be organized
• Should demonstrate
administrative abilities
• Should be able to communicate,
to convey what is within them as
well as what is seen by them, or
revealed to them in the realm of
the Spirit. Also what is seen in
others and what is happening in
the earth...(Being revelatory;
making manifest what is not
obvious)
• Be decisive
10. Thus we have outlined for you the basic and
major qualifications every apostle must have
before being ordained and definitely must be in
demonstration if being affirmed.
