PERSONAL STATEMENT
A highly talented, resourceful, professional and dedicated Civil Engineer with over 2 years’ experience
in a road and tunnel project. Physically fit and able to work on-site and at remote locations, Anwar is more
than willing to undertake any work of a technical nature that falls within his ability and competence. He has a
solid record of health, safety and environmental focus when working on projects, and is committed to his
personal and professional development also he possesses a strong desire to work on exciting and diverse
projects that really make a difference to people’s lives. Right now he is looking for a suitable position with a
forward thinking company. My core strengths include, but are not limited to the following:

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
1. Working at ILCI Holding Company as Civil Engineer since 01/07/2011 up to 01/10/2013 for
construction of a Tunnel project with approach roads with exceptional ability to handle the following
tasks.
 Responsible for preparing of weekly and monthly project progress reporting.
 Providing support in the preparation of technical reports, cost estimates and contract
documentation.
 Awareness of contract conditions and the importance of contracts in project delivery.
 Helping in cost and amount calculations and preparing Interim payment documents.
 Other formal works in the form of technical writing.
 Overseeing the actual construction on the ground.
 Working closely with all levels of management, engineers and field operations staff.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
 Bachelor of Civil Engineering ● Salahaddin University – Iraq, Erbil
 My college research project was about multistory buildings.
 Principal subjects covered was Building design, bridges, dams, water canals, retaining walls, roads &
highways, water tanks and etc.
