Bitumen emulsion plant UVB-1 is designed for production of anionic and
cationic bitumen emulsions.
Bitumen emulsions are used in road construction for preparation of old
road top before application of asphalt concrete, preparation of cold
asphalt concrete mixes, surface treatment of road top, preparation of thin
film protective coat, road patch repairs etc. The unit can be operated either
indoors or outdoors under canopy.
The water phase extension section allows to more than double the

production capacity of UVB-1 due to elimination of time required for
preparation of blend in the unit.
The addition of the extension allows to operate continuously.
The design of the unit allows operation in ambient temperatures from

The unit consecutively blends components in hydrodynamic mixers
at certain pressure and temperature. Due to the unique design the
hydrodynamic mixer provides instant blending of component streams,
which makes the unit compact and reduces energy consumption. The final
stage of production of uniform water-bitumen emulsion occurs in a colloid
mill, which guarantees high quality of the product.
The unit features process control instrumentation which allows either
manual or semi-automatic operation.

UVB-2
The UVB-2 bitumen modification plant is designed for modification of
bitumen by adding polymers, adhesion additives and plasticizers into
viscous road bitumen. Modified bitumen is used in production of asphalt/
concrete top layer, cement protection layers and crack sealants.
The use of modified bitumen instead of regular bitumen in asphalt
concrete mixes allows to extend temperature range of asphalt concrete
layer operability with seasonal temperature fluctuations, ensures load
deformation resistance (crack and rut formation), increases general service
time of automobile roads.
The unit is designed for implementation of virtually any bitumen
modification process using a wide range of polymer modifiers (polymers,
waxes etc).

SBE bitumen emulsion collection and storage tank is designed for storage
of bitumen emulsion produced with the UVB-1 bitumen emulsion unit.
It can be supplied without agitator with facilities of circulation pump
collector. The system is equipped with Dinel and Wika temperature and
level sensors as well as overflow sensors.

FBS-1 Bitumen filter
FBS-1 bitumen filter is designed to remove solid contaminants from
bitumen and other non-corrosive liquids.
The filter is intended for integration into input, storage and output
processes involving regular or modified bitumen, bitumen emulsions and
other high viscosity liquids which require heating.
This filter has two filter cartridges so as to operate continuously. It also
features temperature and pressure sensors for increased reliability and
safety.

UVB-2-L bitumen modification laboratory system is designed for preparation of small
samples (no more than 10 liters per batch) of modified bitumen.
The system uses continuous bitumen mixing process with further dispersion of
bitumen and polymer in the mill. Unit design allows for addition of other liquid
components in the process of bitumen modification.

The unit can be used by petrochemical facilities for
optimization of modified bitumen production process,
determining the required amount of modifying additives and
using the prepared bitumen as a laboratory sample.

Modified bitumen is used in production of asphalt/ concrete top layer, cement protection layers and crack sealants. The use of modified bitumen instead of regular bitumen in asphalt concrete mixes allows to extend temperature range of asphalt concrete layer operability with seasonal temperature fluctuations, ensures load deformation resistance (crack and rut formation), increases general service time of automobile roads.
