• Design and manufacture a mounting system that will allow motor controllers to be secured in the
vehicle while adhering to competition rules
• Use SolidWorks to design and assemble the system to ensure that it will not interfere with other
systems of the vehicle
• Coordinate with other designers to ensure that space, resources, and weight is being used

Crane Design Project 2010-2014
• Design and construct a crane to lift a 1 lb weight at least 2 inches for Stress Analysis class
• Utilized stress analysis principles and calculations to analyze our crane
• Used Autodesk Inventor to create dimensioned drawings to be machined with CNC and Wire
EDM technology
• Assembled the structural and electronic systems of the vehicle and tested them to optimize
success in battle
• In 2014, the bot placed in the top 24 in the region out of over 60 competitors (eliminated in the
5th
round of competition)
