Key Responsibility: Drive Test & Optimization:GSM(2G)
• KPI analysis & maintenance.
• Optimization of the network by changing physical parameters like Mechanical & Electrical
tilt, Antenna orientation etc for an optimum Coverage & Quality.
• Analysis & Troubleshooting with LOG files collected during Drive test.
• New site soft parameter (BCCH, BSIC, HSN, MAIO, LAC) planning and optimization.
Radio parameter analysis and improvement according need.
• Rrectification of Inconsistencies found in paramètres analysis from BSC Dump By using
Huawei LMT Tool for Huawei BSC-6000.
• Implementation of parameters in OMCR & also generation of reports through MML Clint.
• Designing & planning an Indoor/Outdoor cell in order to improve the coverage, capacity
and quality of radio network. This was done by determining the coverage area, capacity
dimensioning, RF design, configuration, and finally desired cell structure is achieved by
tuning the cell.
• Prepare Pre and Post Drive test reports using Genex assistant 1.5 and TEMS 6.0 for
Problem cause and recommendation solutions.
• Analyzing Drive test logs to improve the coverage quality and network performances.
• Co-Channel(C/I) & Adjacent Channel (C/A) interference analysis.
• Drive testing using TEMS & GENEX PROBE kit to verify the network performance & major
KPIs (Rx Level, Rx Quality, SQI, C/I, C/A, HO failure, Call Drop).
• The activities included foot printing of all the sites in order to control the sites overshoot,
Interference Elimination. Finding missing & one way neighbors, coverage holes.
• Used MAPINFO & GENEX ASSIATANT to create thematic diagrams to present Rx Level, Rx
Quality, and SQI, dropped calls, blocked calls and HO failure.
