3. ● An annotation is a summary and/or evaluation
● A bibliography is a list of sources or citations that you plan to use in your
research
Annotated + Bibliography
An annotated bibliography includes a summary/evaluation of each
sources you plan to use for your research
4. ● A list of citations to books, articles, and documents
● Followed by a brief (usually 150-250 words) descriptive and evaluative
paragraph which is the annotation
● Informing the reader of the relevance, accuracy, and quality of the
sources cited
● The citations use an appropriate format (e.g. APA, MLA)
