WHERE WE CAME FROM
1992-1998 Taking Shape
1992 - KBB founder, Mr.Shi Jianli, started the company with a vision of “Approach the
market scientifically and treat people and business with the utmost integrity.
1995 - KBB opened the first production base in Beijing
1997 - KBB made the first two wing automatic door in China.
1998 - KBB acquired Enyitong Electroplate Factory
1999-2003 Steady Development
1999 - KBB acquired Changping electronic motor factory which later became Beijing factory base.
2000 - Beijing R&D and production base were completed and ran the operations at high
scale. The production ability and scale was ranked number one in Asia.
2001 - KBB passed the certificates of ISO9001, UKAS, RAB, TGA.
2003 - Series product has been recommended as the “Olympic construction project”,
“National priority project” by the Olympic Building Material and Equipment Editorial
Review Board.
2004-2007 Created a Splendid Success
2004 - Shenyang KBB Automated Entrances Inc. was established. KBB expanded the Northern
markets growth strategy in the Eastern China. .
2004 - Ningbo KBB Automated Entrances Manufacturing Co. Ltd was established. KBB’s
regional manufacturing strategy is to take the Lead in every market.
2005 - KBB Group was established. The development of KBB has entered into a new era.
2007 - Shenyang KBB Automated Entrances Inc. completed construction.KBB achieved its
growth strategy in the North-East China.
2008-2010 Building an International Brand
2008 - KBB formed an Investment and International Trade company, KBB International Co.,
Ltd, stepping into a new development phase of expanding into international business.
2009 - Zhi Shang Smart Software Corporation was founded and positioned to become an
influential artificial intelligence software provider both in China and in the world.
2010 - KBB successfully built sales and service network in over 50 countries around the world,
and was the first national brand to go international in automatic doors industry.
2011 – Looking Forward
2011 - Won numerous projects, including Beijing subway line projects.

reduction, and environmental protection. The entire product
research and development as well as manufacturing process of
KBB are pollution free. We see water treatment systems on our

Waste water treatment: Water conservation and waste water
recycling. We built the water treatment facilities on our factory
sites to stop releasing any waste water.
Energy Efficiency: KBB revolving doors use a unique design referred to as windmill

TECHNOLOGY & SECURITY
Program Selector
The switch allows the user to control the operating state of the door through six
programs depending on their needs. (Night Lock, Opening Position Stop/Start,
Closing Position Stop/Start, Low/High Speed, Revolving Counter Clockwise
Manually, Revolving Clockwise Manually).
Key Switch
Automatic doors can be operated through three different functions: night lock,
go-stop and continuous revolving.
[Note] The go-stop, the door will automatically revolve (through sensor activation)
when the door is approached upon. This setting is ideal to reduce energy
consumption.
Disabled Access Function
The low-speed button is used to control the speed of the door and slow it down for
the safety of younger, older and disabled passersby.
Backup Battery
The backup battery ensures normal operations when the door is powered off.
LED
The LED lighting panel displays the operating state of the door, and shows
possible error codes for troubleshooting.
Mobile Phone / Internet Monitoring
KBB’s unique control software can be used to facilitate the management of the
door through mobile phones or the internet. With this feature, the operator could
monitor the operation status and alarms of the door.

ADVANCED SAFETY FUNCTIONS
Emergency Stop Function
The emergency stop button is able to stop movement of the automatic door under any
circumstance, ensuring safety of the passersby in case of any emergency.
Fire Alarm Function
The pre-installed signal output also allows for the door to be connected to the fire
system in the building. When the door receives a fire alarm signal, the revolving door
will automatically switch to the emergency open mode.
Anti-Squeeze Sensor
The anti-squeeze sensor will stop the door immediately when activated.
Safety Relay
The safety relay can monitor whether the safety buffer works at any moment. The door
will stop suddenly when the buffer breaks down.
Torque Control Function
When the distance between the moving door wing and the fixed one is less than a
certain space, the drive power output from the motor will reduce to a safe level, so that
the pedestrian will not be hurt even if all the sensors are breakdown.
Mechanical Axis Braking Driving
The rotary table and the motor brake will work simultaneously to stop the door,
providing the passerby complete safety in case of an emergency.
Emergency Switch Function
To ensure complete safety, a UPS power supply is incorporated in case of
emergencies. This switch prevents a passerby from being trapped inside a door in
extreme situations.
