2. BRIEF COMPANY HISTORY:
In 2014, with an amendment to the articles of association, the company changed its name to “NP
ENTERPRISES LTD” and while maintaining the original activity of providing accounting services and
business consultant (NP CONSULT) it extended the scope to the following sectors:
- Renewable Energy Sources (NP ENERGY),
- High nutritional value food (NP FOOD),
- Cultivation, marketing, processing and export of organic food products (NP AGROTICA) and
- Management and operation of up market hotel venues (NP FILOXENIA).
The Company began its activity in Greece in 1998 as a private enterprise providing a complete suite
of accounting and tax consulting services to clients, irrespective of the legal entity structure or
nationality. Its clientele include many of the largest business entities in the region, covering a wide
3. range of sectors, such as sports clubs, commercial companies, gaming companies, hotels,
manufacturing companies as well as shipping and transport companies.
In 2009 the private enterprise was transformed into a limited liability company called «NP CONSULT
Ltd" extending its activities beyond the purely accounting profession. Through strategic
partnerships with foreign firms it took on roles such as business consultation, specializing in
sourcing funding for «INTEGRATED RESORT SCHEMES» both in Greece and abroad, as well as being
an interface for managing indebted businesses and households.
The Company expanded its operation into Sub-Sahara Africa with the setting up, in South Africa, of
“NP ENTERPRISES SOUTH AFRICA (PTY) LTD” specializing in all matters concerned with renewable
energy sources and new, state of the art technologies for obtaining the cheapest and most eco-
friendly energy production.
3. PRODUCT LINES :
Drawing from the vast experience of Greek based European technologies in the
harnessing of solar power, the Company, in cooperation with the largest and most
prominent players in the industry in Greece, has a complete suite of products and
specialized know how which harnesses solar power to supply hot water, heating,
lighting and electricity so as to bring the best possible result that will benefit the end
user and at the same time benefit the community and the country. In addition with its wide range
of aluminium products the Company ensures quality protection to buildings from environmental
factors. Finally the Company carries the know how to provide correct water and waste water
management. Through this suite of products the Company ensures that any building or project
undertaken has a Green Footprint. The up side for using Greek based European technology is that
such technology which has been developed in Greece is readily applicable in South Africa due to the
similar climatic and environmental conditions prevailing in both countries.
4. 3.1. New Tech Thermal Systems
3.1.1.Nanotech Infrared Thermal Film – This film is an inexpensive
heating system ideal for under floor or under carpet
heating. It can be used for residential or commercial
purposes. It is both cheap and easy to install and does not
require any repairs or maintenance once installed. It can be
fitted under any type of flooring. It is environmentally friendly without smoke, dust, odor
or noise emissions.
3.1.2.Wall-Mounted Electrode Boilers – These boilers are compact, economical and designed to
meet heating and / or hot water requirements for residences,
commercial buildings, hotels and hospitals directly, quickly,
economically and with a high degree of efficiency. Through the
implementation of electrolysis they achieve between 40 % to 60%
economy compared to any other boilers that use combustible
fuels. They are environmentally friendly due to the complete
disassociation from combustible fuels.
3.2. Traditional & Biomass Thermal Systems
As wood is the oldest form of renewable energy source known to man,
the use of wood and pellet (biomass) heaters, boilers and cookers in
areas where access to electricity is a serious issue, is the safest way to
service households and communities. The Company trades in a wide
variety of new generation wood or pellet combusting equipment that
can provide solutions to heating or cooking or even to both.
5. 3.3. Solar Thermal and Hot Water Systems (Geysers)
The SUN is an unending, inexhaustible, inexpensive source of energy. With the available
technology we can harness it to secure our energy needs
with limited or no adverse impact to the environment.
Technology is so advanced in solar power that the use of
expensive carbon based fuels and / or nuclear fuels is
starting to become environmentally obsolete while still
extremely expensive. Solar energy is used to heat boilers to
provide for the central heating, the hot water and the steam
needs of houses, apartments, hotels, hospitals, offices, factories and green houses.
Ample hot water can be produced for domestic as well as for commercial usage at little or
no expense for the user and at an even lesser cost
for the community in total. All products can be
tailored to the individual household needs. The
material is of the finest quality and the products
are equipped with all the appropriate
certifications of conformity applicable to the
European Union. The Solar Water Heaters have
high performance and long life. The procedures followed in the production and quality
control make these solar heating systems innovative. The commitment of the company to
the quality, reliability and technical support provided over the years have earned the trust of
consumers. The Solar Water Heaters are the right choice for families as they ensure
immediate amortization of the purchase cost, provide energy savings and economy in the
family budget and technical support for a lifetime.
6. 3.4. Solar Panels
Especially in areas where access to electrical power is limited or even not possible, electricity
requirements can be met through solar panels (in conjunction with inverters and batteries)
that can be set up as (a) Solar Farms (or Grids) to
service housing estates or communities, or (b) as
individual units to service individual properties.
Feasibility studies need to be carried out to ascertain
best possible solution for each case. Solar energy is
inexhaustible, renewable, and clean. Solar radiation is
an inexhaustible energy source which offers
environmentally safe energy supply, while at the same
time offers protection to the ecosystem. Taking into
account that the generation of and consumption of
solar produced electrical power takes place locally, we avoid the losses which occur in the
transmission and distribution of electricity as well as saving on imported fuels. By these
means alone, a 10% saving in the energy is achieved compared to the conventional energy
supply through the power grid. The photovoltaic cells systems, that convert solar radiation to
electrical current, have evolved significantly in recent years and are considered to be the ideal
systems for energy conversion because they use the most readily available energy source on the
planet and they produce electricity, which is the most usable form of energy.
3.5. Solar Lighting and Ventilation Products
Lightway solar lighting collects daylight from the sky – either from the
roof or the outer wall of the building. It then transmits healthy sunlight
down into the rooms where natural light is ordinarily not available during
the day. These are the inner rooms of a building where windows cannot
be installed. These can even be underground rooms.
7. Similarly with the Solar powered ventilators. Storage areas and attics
can be ventilated without any power consumption. Actually such
ventilation assists in the cooling of houses and the dispersion of
moisture by expelling the hot and moist air that rises.
3.6. Aluminium Framed Doors & Windows
With over 20 years of presence in the Greek market, architectural aluminium profiles are
constantly evolving and developing. Their capacity to protect and insulate structures and
their longevity has led to their wide spread use in eco friendly buildings.
3.6.1. Sliding Aluminium Doors & Windows
This economy panel is the classic
system in use for sliding
aluminum doors. Careful design
of this series provides insulation,
water -proofing, proper and
simple operation.
The simplistic and quick construction of frames ensures economy in time and
productivity to the manufacturer. The system’s runners have
different dimensions, curved fillets and the necessary tilt of
the lower level section for quick water drainage even in harsh
weather conditions. The rollers are adjustable, large in
diameter coated with Teflon, thus achieving a smooth, easy
and quiet roll and slide. Profiles used for windows are
produced in three different heights, for single or multiple
locks, with or without cable motion, providing greater security.
8. Some of the main features and benefits of the series are as follows:
- Multiple structures
- Sturdy frame construction
- Excellent quality tire and tube
- Profile thickness 1,2 ~ 1,4mm
The profiles are dyed with an ultramodern vertical dyeing workshop, meeting all shades
of the RAL colour sampler in glossy or matt finishing. It is possible to paint special
metallic shades depending on the customer requirements. In addition there are 14
different shades of wood. This aluminum system is one of the most reliable sliding
systems in the South African market. It offers a stainless steel guide for smooth, quiet
and damage-free rolling of its panels. It is designed for medium and large openings and
covers all modern architectural requirements.
3.6.2. Opening Aluminium Doors & Windows
This system is the classic system for
opening aluminum frames. This series
features a wide range of profiles, which
are able to cover any construction
application. The impermeability of
water and air are ensured by three
rubber gaskets from EPDM material. The doors from this series have distinctive looks, a
combination of straight and curved sections together with
corresponding frames offer special aesthetics both internally
and externally. The profiles are Camera-European designed,
like all the opening systems of our company, giving many
options for accessories. Proper design, quality control and
9. sophisticated vertical powder coating plant give the finest quality and aesthetics of the
finished product. This system is considered one of the most complete opening systems
available in the South African market.
Some of the main features and benefits of this series are as follows:
· Multiple structures
· Excellent quality accessories
· Profile thickness 1,3 ~ 1,5mm
· Functionality and simplicity of construction
· Excellent aesthetics and great variety of profiles
The company has an ultramodern vertical dyeing workshop meeting all shades of the
RAL color sampler, in glossy or matte paint. It is possible to paint special metallic shades
depending on customer requests. There are also, 14 different shades of wood. This
aluminum system is one of the most reliable opening systems in the South African
market. It too offers a stainless steel guide for smooth, quiet and damage-free opening
of its panels. It is designed for small, medium and large openings and covers all modern
architectural requirements.
3.7. Water and Waste Management
Water is quickly becoming one of the scarcest commodities as it is the only commodity that
is an absolute essential for the sustainability of life on the planet. It is in apparent abundance
but simultaneously is either not managed or
mismanaged, hence rendering all useable water a
scarce commodity. After consumption or
processing water becomes wastewater for which
we can have a number of definitions. The
approach taken here is a very broad definition
following that outlined in the UNEP/UNHABITAT document ‘Sick Water?’.
10. Thus, wastewater is defined as “a combination of one or more of :
• domestic effluent consisting of blackwater (excreta, urine and faecal sludge) and greywater
(kitchen and bathing wastewater);
• water from commercial establishments and institutions, including hospitals;
• industrial effluent, storm water and other urban run-off;
• agricultural, horticultural and aquaculture effluent, either dissolved or as suspended
matter (Corcoranetal 2010).
Although, using this definition, the term ‘wastewater’ clearly encompasses domestic,
commercial, industrial, agricultural components and also faecal sludge, these are sometimes
covered separately in order to clarify or highlight the importance of the individual
components or wastewater streams.
The environmental consciousness of the Company has led it to great awareness on matters
concerning water and waste water management. As a result the Company has formed
strategic alliances with specialists in the field and has the ability to provide projects with the
11. necessary input and know-how so as to establish effective water and waste water
management techniques so that any project has the least possible environmental impact,
allowing for a less costly, more effective benefit to the surrounding communities.
4. QUALITY CERTIFICATIONS :
All products supplied come with all the quality certification as required by the EU directives.

13. 6. AFFILIATIONS :
For over ten years, the Company has been affiliated to “LEADING ESTATES of the WORLD” a South
African company dealing globally in high end, off market assets, where the founder & managing
director has been sitting on the Board of Directors of LEADING ESTATES as Managing Director. The
Company has also been affiliated to “LEADING AFRICA”, a company founded by Dr Ann Worth with
a 21 year stellar track record in 1)
Investor Fund Procurement and
Placement on behalf of Client
Property Developments, 2) Brand
Equity Creation, 3) Strategic
Development Analysis, 4) Client

Architecture and 6) Marketing for
Bespoke Luxury Brands. Since 2012,
the founder is also one of the
founding members of the “WATER
for WOMEN FOUNDATION” which is a worldwide fund, structured to support rural women and
children in agriculture. Estimates reveal that if women had the same access to productive resources
as men, they could increase yields on their farms by 20 - 30% lifting 100 to 150 million out of
hunger.
More recently, and specifically in 2015, the Company undertook to become the representative of
“ANAGENISIS” (see: http://agri-economy.wix.com/anagenisis-africa) in Europe and since then also
has a strong affiliation there too. “ANAGENISIS” is the company that has been mandated by the
South African Government to bring one million hectares of agricultural land back into production
with the purpose of enhancing food security and combating poverty and unemployment.
14. 7. BUSINESS STRATEGY (in brief) :
As “NP CONSULT”, the consulting division, the Company holds a suite of services specialized in the
cultivation of cross-border, local and international business relationships that develop trust and
promote investment and funding for projects. In summary therefore NPE brings to the table:-
• Local Knowledge and the trust of key decision makers locally and internationally.
• Structuring of Local/International partnerships, J/V’s, and investment vehicles.
• Strategic advisory, risk management and private equity funding.
• The unlocking of value in new business development.
• Accounting, tax and legal consulting
As “NP AGROTICA”, “NP FOOD” and “NP FILOXENIA” the Company is actively involved in organic
agricultural development (industrial, commercial and rural) in combination with agri-tourism and
food trading.
Furthermore, as “NP ENERGY”, the renewable energy source
division, and as documented above, the Company trades in a
wide range of products that encompass renewable energy
sources (solar & aeolic) – biofuels for heating and water
processing solutions, water & waste management
purification, nanotechnology, biotechnology, desalination
panels, lighting, and insulation.
The company offers specialized know how on how to harness solar power to supply hot water,
heating, lighting and electricity to bring about the best possible result that will entail
benefitting the end user while simultaneously benefitting the country. Technologies are so
advanced in solar power that the use of carbon based fuels is costly, detrimental to the
environment and is starting to become obsolete.
15. In line with our underlying philosophy,
we are committed, through the quality of
our work and the quality of our products
to bring added value to the project,
added value that will be immediately
recognizable by the consumer or end
user on the one hand and by the Country
on the other hand given that the best
possible product will be supplied at the
best possible cost.
The economic model formulated by our company to provide hot water, electricity and heating
to housing projects (in clusters) extends further than the mere supply of the relevant products.
In order to unlock the full value of the housing projects the following process will be
implemented:
- Hot Water will be made available to all the houses via either an 80lt or 120lt solar geyser
depending on the housing requirements.
- Electricity will be made available to all the houses via the supply of individual, stand alone
photovoltaic panels for each house or through the set up of a grid that will cover the needs of
the entire cluster. Final decision on mode will be determined by the specific needs of each
cluster.
- Heating will be made available to all the houses via the supply of wood stoves. These stoves
will provide cooking capabilities too so that the electricity supply circuit will not be burdened
from electric cookers. Stove types will depend on the housing requirements.
- Insulation (against heat, cold and noise) will be made available to all the houses through the
installation of quality aluminium fittings with double glazed window panels.
- Water purification and waste management, where such is required, will be made available to
the houses through the implementation of water purification system.
16. But where does the benefit lie?
The benefit lies in that the supply of the above products will:
1) Not burden the already overloaded electrical supply grid due to the use of the most effective
renewable energy sources, sunlight and wood.
2) The users will have reduced costs for the said utilities hence their low incomes will effectively
be subsidized allowing them the luxury of spending in other goods or producing savings.
3) The Company can set up an assembly plant at each location so that all the above supplied
products are physically assembled in the area according to
the pre-required factory standards. Labour will be required
and will be employed from the local community and
trained by the company specialists. Once the project is
completed and the clusters are allotted to the users the
assembly plant will be converted to Technical Support
Station (TSS) servicing the Repair and Maintenance
requirements of the cluster. Eventually the TSS will be converted to a separate small business
entity to be transferred to a likely local candidate operating under a franchise system. The
option is open to develop separate TSS’s for the hot water supply, the heating and the
electricity supply. The number of people employed will depend on the cluster requirements.
4) Careful consideration has been given to the source of the wood that will be required for the
wood stoves. In conformity with our underlying philosophy, our company, under the “NP
AGROTICA” brand will ensure that the local flora and
forestry will not be affected by the extra requirement for
wood. Similarly “dangerous” wood by-products (such as
chip-board or processed cartons) which are usually found in
urban areas and which when burnt are harmful to humans
and extremely detrimental to the environment will not be
required. This will be achieved through the setup of a “plantation” of high yield trees that has
17. high energy content (such as eucalyptus) so as to provide the necessary wood for the stoves of
the cluster. This too will be set up as a Support Station initially which will harvest the wood, cut
it to the desired size, pack it and supply it to the cluster. This process will provide job
opportunities and once again will provide the opportunity to a likely candidate to acquire it on
a franchise basis. Such trees can provide alternative revenues in essential oils and other by-
products.
The underlying concept is that apart from the supply of
“green” products to address the hot water, electricity and
heating supply issue as “NP ENERGY”, the Company will use
its expertise as “NP AGROTICA” and “NP CONSULT” to
develop small businesses and train the appropriate people
from the local community so as to address the
unemployment issue and assist in alleviating poverty.
It goes without saying that the services of the “NP CONSULT” brand and the know-how of the
Company in all the fields, will be made available to any willing and interested member of the
cluster community to assist in the development of other small businesses around the clusters
so that these grow into self sustainable communities.
In conclusion, irrespective of whether the housing is low cost or not, the quality of the products
will not in any way be compromised. NP ENTERPRISES LTD and its partners maintain a high
track record of quality services and such reputation will not be tarnished at any cost. In line
with our belief, the beneficiaries of these projects, irrespective of social or wealth status,
deserve to enjoy the best possible quality of product.
We, as “NP ENTERPRISES” remain at the service of the local communities.
