RESPONSIBILITIES 
 Technical co-ordination between the workshop and the company's after-sales 
policy. 
 Diagnosis with customers at the request of the Service Advisors. 
 Complex jobs and diagnostics. 
 Classifying and updating the technical documentation. 
 Technical training of colleagues. 
 Observation of commitments made to the customer and the quality of service 
delivered. 
 Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. 
 Care of material resources, tools and equipment. 
 Ensuring compliance with rules, procedures, charters and standards within his

TASKS 
 Present new products to mechanics and inform them of all specific features. 
 Sort and archive notes and technical information, explain them to the other 
mechanics. 
 Update IT tools. (Clip, etc.) 
 Help provide technical information required for the Spares documentation. 
 Analyse complex ongoing work with the mechanics (customer impact, etc.) and 
help them find the solutions. (tests before and after the works) 
 Consult ACTIS on Renault.net (technical information) and keep the mechanics 
informed. 
 Create a Customer Incident Card for all identified problems that are not included 
in ACTIS. 
 Return the Customer Incident Card to the manufacturer with the solution or a 
request for a solution. 
 At the manufacturer's request, provide expert technical advice (warranty 
agreements, techline, ...).
 At the Service Advisor's request, provide customers with explanations and 
advice. (diagnostics, repairs, workings of a product) 
 Escalate requirements for specific tools. (collective and specialized) 
 Receive and store new collective and specialized tools and inform the mechanics. 
 Consult the task roster. 
 Checks that the driving position is suitably protected (installs the protection if 
necessary). 
 Check the overall workings of the vehicle's driving position. 
 Bring the vehicle to the work station. 
 Analyze the work requested on the Repair Order and check with the Production 
Manager that the work has been well understood. 
 Depending on the type of incident, perform a test with the customer before 
starting the job. 
 Use the diagnostics tools. 
 Consult technical documentation (Repair Manual, Info-Tech, Wiring Diagram, 
ICM, ACTIS, etc.) 
 Disassemble certain subsystems and parts, if necessary. 
 Create a Customer Incident Card, if necessary. 
 Inform the Service Manager of the diagnostics, any additional works, the 
availability of parts and the duration of the job.
