Achievements & Project Summary
I. Organization: MAN Diesel & Turbo Ltd. Aurangabad
Role and Responsibilities: -
• Design and develop Structure parts of marine engine.
• Database management and manufacturing drawing release using Team center 8.3.
• Arrangement of assemblies and sub-assemblies for the different sections of Ship engines and create BOM for the same
• Intermediate part design and development of different reference set such as welding, machining.
• Create common drawings for different number of cylinder variants and variable dimensioning conditions in NX. .
2. • Handle the problems in written format and video conferencing with the overseas design team and Production team.
Accomplishments at MAN Diesel & Turbo Ltd. Aurangabad
Project: - Design and develop shielding for 8S70ME-C.
− Once get inputs in the form of JIS (Job Instruction sheet) study the task search reference in PLM
− Come up with standard 2-3 Conceptual solution, get approval for this from CPH (Overseas) designer.
− Basic study of mockup for positioning of shielding.
− Simplify the design for easy manufacturing as per DFA.
− Submit to CPH designer, after approval release complete module in team center (TC 8.3) for production.
Project: - Design and develop Rot comp 110/60/250/500.1
− Basic calculation for flyweight position and rot-comp selection.
− Make complete modeling and drafting of different parts with sheet metal and modeling tool in NX 8.5
Project: - Design and develop Bed Plate. (Expression modeling for family parts and part family for complete bed plate)
− Make complete modeling and drafting of different stages (welding, machining, complete level) in NX 8.5.
− Done quality check in complete mockup with relative sub function of engine.
Project: - Design and develop Piping for different engine position.
− Create complete piping using mechanical routing in NX 8.5.
Project: - Transfer to NX different sub function of engine (2D to 3D conversion of large assembly)
− Develop 3D model from 2D drawings like connecting rod, cylinder frame etc.
− Create drawings and release in PLM for manufacturing.
Overseas Experience: 3 month work on project at Copenhagen, Denmark.
• Title: Bedplate: - Active participation in the design of 12S90ME-C9.2 Bed plate and developed its arrangement level,
weld level and machining level drawings by effective utilization of reference sets as well as production concepts.
II. Organization: John Galt International Badlapur, Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities: -
Employed as Production Engineer and was looking after the production related work from raw material
requirement to dispatch finish good.
• Create the initial bill of material and order the raw material.
• Distribution of work orders to individuals and make sure work progress as per plan.
• Doing Stage wise & final internal inspection.
• Documentation of all projects.
