Best practices
on displaying a
Powerful Personal Presence
as a leader
What does it mean to have a
powerful personal presence
as a leader?
#1 Authenticity
#2 Confidence
#3 Positivity
#4 Mutual Respect
#5 Trust
Character & Authenticity
Come from having a strong inner core of values and
beliefs, and a strong sense of clarity about who you
are and what you stand for.
Confidence & self-esteem
Its all about believing in yourself in such a way that
you become confident enough to encourage
success, as people who lack self esteem stop trying
after one or two failures and that is the primary
reason they don’t succeed.
Positivity & Morale
We must motivate by our own examples. Demonstrated
positive attitudes result in optimism and achieving goals.
In conjunction with leading by example we must be sure to
communicate to our employees the companies objectives
and expectations.
Mutual respect
for one another
We must recognize and value our differences as
well as our similarities. There is no right or
wrong, only different. This could be referring to
opinions or even personal choices. Champion to
promote a climate where discriminating
language and actions is absent and encouraging
open and honest communication is ideal.
Trust & Integrity
Each positive encounter with our team members
is based on these qualities. Which makes it
imperative that we as leaders become proactive
and create an environment where Trust and
Integrity are apparent to all.
Each day is an opportunity to practice each of these
attributes and traits with our team. The more positive
interactions we display the more our team is likely to
respond with customers both internal and external in
the same way. An open environment where
employees feel empowered, one that encourages
responsibility and accountability is indisputable.
The process of being a leader is constant and if you
are a born leader.. I hope this helps you to be made
a GREAT one!
