Solid Waste Metals
A Dutch company visited Portugal on a business
meeting program organized by the Dutch
Portuguese Chamber of Commerce, to explore
possible future expansion in Portugal. During 3
days, the company had interesting meetings with
decision makers and key companies to explore the
market situation and establish possible future
business relationships.
Meanwhile, the Company managed to obtain its
largest order outside the Netherlands in Portugal.
They were responsible for constructing a waste
composting installation near Lisbon.
The Chamber helped a Portuguese Aluminum
Extruder factory expand to the Netherlands.
Through our large network, knowledge of the
language and the market we prepared a tailor-made
program in which the company visited potential
clients and distributors in the Netherlands.
First we elaborated a light market scan study,
identifying the distribution channels and potential
clients and distributors. In addition, we introduced
the Company to these clients and distributors and
made appointments on location for them during a 3
day visit.
Water Sector HR & Construction
The Chamber introduced a Portuguese member
company to a potential Dutch partner. The Chamber
accompanied the CEO of the company during the
negotiations in the Netherlands.
The objective was to promote collaboration between
both parties in Mozambique. First steps were
defined and they started with exchanging personnel
and knowledge in the ongoing projects in Angola
and Mozambique.
The Chamber helped Portuguese temporary
employment agencies and construction companies
sort out issues like:
* Working in the Netherlands;
* 30% Ruling;
* Licenses VCA / NEN;
* Fiscal environment.
