Program Development and Project Management
• Managed in excess of $100 million in discretionary Air Force sustainment, renovation, and modernation
(SRM) work with numerous customers at TAFB
• Directly responsible for initial customer outreach, including assisting customers during project planning and
development, contract execution, and project completion.
• Work within Project Delivery Team to determine appropriate acquisition/contractual strategy – primarily
SATOCs, MATOCs, and MILCONs
• Ensured project compliance by following the USACE business processes and federal regulations
• Worked closely with team members at Tulsa District to utilize in-house resources first, if available
• Maintained a high level of customer satisfaction by building relationships and performing at a high level of
competency
• Briefed high level command, as necessary. This included meetings with General Johnson of the Air Force

Program Development and Project Management
• Developed and oversee the Site Clean-up Assistance Program to remediate former National Guard armories
and abandoned hazardous waste sites in Oklahoma with $2 million annual budget
• Developed process with Oklahoma Military Department to remediate BRAC armories
• Coordinate and performed ceremony recognizing completion of cleanup and handoff to communities
• Oversaw the $50 million buyout of two Oklahoma communities that were closed down due to environmental
and subsidence issues. This type of complex project had never been done in the United States.
• Control and manage project budgets and scheduling from initial planning through project completion and
operations phase

2. Executive Management
• Provide regular project and budget updates to upper management to ensure agency goals are being met
• Work in an advisory capacity with management, EPA, politicians, Tribal entities, and community leaders
• Coordinate responses to federal and state legislative inquiries in a timely manner
• Coordinate and conduct tours of Tar Creek Superfund site for congressional delegation and other interested
parties
• Communicate with Tribal entities to direct projects and gain consensus on project path forward
Represent agency at national conferences on project, construction, contract, and historical aspects of Superfund

• Allocate federal grant funds for procurement of contractors from project planning phase through contractor
negotiation and procurement and project completion

• Manage agency projects and budgets, including coordination with several state, federal and local entities
• Worked dilligently to refocus effort with several federal and state agencies to redirect and obtain $50
million
in grant funds towards relocation of residents in one of the largest environmental cleanup sites in the county
• Prepared and received approval for agreement between state and tribal government to perform $2
million
construction project (first in the nation of this type)
Legal
• Work closely with the Oklahoma Attorney General's office on settlement negotiations in different cases
• Provide technical assistance to agency attorneys and coordinate with respondent's consultants to
negotiate
best methods for site remediation
• Successfully participated in negotiations between the DEQ, the U.S. Department of Justice and a
respondent
in a bankruptcy proceeding at a Superfund Site
