course offering at Irving
Middle School which
essentially extends both
the Computer Solutions
and Technology &
Engineering course
content into a full year
class. There are no
prerequisites for this course
and the interactive projects
are different from the other
Career & Technical
Education courses offered at
Irving.

introducing participants to a broad spectrum of STEM fields. NC State University was recently
named as a top STEM university in the country, and is a hotbed for technological advances.
This program is a prime example of STEM outreach that goes on at State.
