Amoco Production Company - WORLDWIDE NEW VENTURES / EXPLORATION BUSINESS GROUP.
May 1989 - June 1994
Chief Geophysicist of Amoco Poland Petroleum Co.
Solely responsible for establishing and enhancing Amoco's status as the preferred business
partner of the Polish government. Built good working relationship with Polish energy institutions,
universities and contractors. Developed a cordial working atmosphere with the Polish professional
community.
Facilitated initiation and supervised Technical Evaluation Agreement (TEA) signed by Amoco with
Polish government. The evaluation area covered 50 million acres. Successfully recommended
acquiring concession acreage in Polish Trough and Lublin area to Amoco upper management.
Evaluated and Interpreted geophysical data from the TEA area and later from Amoco concession
in Polish Trough. QC'd reprocessing of over 6000 km of original Polish seismic data, participated in
the design of acquisition parameters for a seismic test line located in Polish Trough. Reprocessed,
hands-on, selected seismic lines from the concession area using ProMAX and AMOCO's
proprietary migration before stack (MBS).
Evaluated Polish and Houston contractor’s capabilities, negotiated the reprocessing contracts and
supervised the reprocessing effort.
Received 'Reward and Recognition' award in 1990 for: 'A contribution which exceeded expected
levels of high performance'.
Amoco Canada Petroleum Company LTD
September 1988 - April 1989
Geophysicist
Interacted with interpreters and applied combined Amoco and Dome software to perform state of
the art seismic processing. The resulting seismic sections were used to map and successfully
explore for subtle structural and stratigraphic traps in poor data quality areas in a variety of plays.
Worked with minimal supervision.
Dome Petroleum LTD
February 1986 - August 1988
Geophysicist.
Applied specialized and sophisticated processing techniques to selected seismic data for reef and
channel sand prospects in areas of low S/N ratio. Innovative use of combined Dome and Western
Geophysical technology to improve static solutions (refraction static), reduce noise, remove
multiples (Radon Transform) and determine velocity field.
Digitech Systems LTD
May 1984 - January 1986
4. Programmer/System Analyst.
Programmed in ASSEMBLER and FORTRAN for the purpose of customizing software to
demultiplex, reformat and copy nonstandard field seismic tapes. Installed new software releases
and updated, tested and maintained subroutine libraries.

Environmental and engineering geophysicist.
Responsibilities:
- Mapping and determining the source of chemical contamination of groundwater.
- Selecting sites for retention ponds and hazardous waste storage.
- Locating sand and gravel deposits for mining.
- Determining depth to permafrost and bedrock for routing pipelines and roads.
Team leader responsible for planning entire projects. Designed geophysical survey, arranged
logistics, conducted and supervised field work, interpreted data and prepared final reports while
meeting contractual budgetary constraints. Modeled electromagnetic (EM) and shallow refraction
