Students need help planning time to
complete course assignments within their
busy and irregular schedules.

2. Persona - Steve the Struggling Student
Steve is a university student. He is taking a heavy course
load this semester. On top of his classes, Steve has a lot of
other commitments: he belongs to several clubs on
campus, is looking for a summer job, and likes to hang out
with his friends.
Steve is motivated to do well in his classes but he struggles
to balance his class work (particularly weekly projects and
homeworks) with other commitments. He sometimes
turns in assignments late and can’t devote as much time
and energy to his work as he would like. Steve is stressed
about this semester. He thinks he is good at managing his
time, but he wonders if he could do a better job.
