1. PRIMARY RESEARCH
Usinggoogle formsI createda surveymade to collectreal datawhichwill be usedto supportmy
projectwithfirst-handopinionsandresponses. RatherthananalysingstraightawayIwill leave it
24hours at leastbefore movingon.Thatway a more accurate surveywill be resulted.
Stickingwithanage range of 15-25, I wantedtocollect the rightdate from youngishmindsrevealing
howhard it can be for those inyoungergenerations.Fifteenbecause beingin year10 is where life
beginstogetharder,mock exams, part-time jobhunting,personalissues.Thenendingat twenty-five
due to the expectations of havingawell-payingjoblivinginthe nicestpropertyandbeingmarried
withkids.
Those oldertendtocomplainabouthowwe are younger andshouldn’tevenunderstandthe
meaningof stressedcomparingoursituationstotheirs.Butbeingyoungerdoesn’tmeanwe don’t
experience stressfulsituations,andthissurveyisproof of that.
Jumpingbetweenthe topicsof beingstressedandhappy,asthisdata comestogetheritwill help
resultina more accurate, successful outcome. Togetthe answersIneed, the surveyhasbeen
sharedaroundfriends,relatives, classmatesandex-classmates.
24+ hours later, analysing both the surveys questionsand results:
[Note:Although 22 people have respondedto the survey, not all the answers appear in the
screenshotsannoyingly.]
(1.)
For my firstquestion,Iwantedtostartthe surveyoff nice and simple askingthe moodof everyone
at the very time theywere willinglytakingthe survey, still relatingtothe campaignfocusingonthe
mindsetsof youngpeople.
Unfortunately,of all the twenty-tworesponses,noone wasinthe bestof moodsresultingwith two
people stressedatthe time of the survey, nine respondingwing“couldbe better.”Thenfinally the
lasteleven claimingthey justare okay.
(2.)
2. Movingonto the nextquestion,Iwasinterestedinfindingoutwhatmakeseveryone theirhappiest
and to see whichwouldbe the mostcommonresponses.Thenpossibly,Icoulduse whatmakes
these people happy thenputittogetherresultinginabetterfinal outcome.Soratherthan takinga
guessto whatmightmake people smile, findingwhatreallymakespeoplesmilewill leadtoamore
positive projectwitheveryone havingdifferentopinions. Thatway, Iwouldendup creating
somethingonlyafewwill enjoy, leadingtothe campaign not reallyworking.
Out of the twenty-tworesponses,the top three mostcommonwouldhave tobe:3. Tiedbetween
animalsand one'slove interest.2. Family.Thennumber1. Topanswerresultinginthe most
commoncause of people'shappinessis beingwithfriends.Althoughthereisthe oddfew whoare
happiestalone, mostpeople enjoythe companyof others.
(3.)
Focusingmainly onthe subjectof stress,Iaskedforroughlyhow stressed the survey-takersfind
themselves.Withthisinformation,Icanshow how annoyingly commonitisforthe chosenage
3. range of homo-sapienstostruggle withstress. Especiallysince withdue toour ages we getcalledout
for beingstressedbeingtoldwe are tooyoungto know how it feelsbelievingtheirexperiencesare
much worse thanours will everbe.
Unfortunately, witheveryone between15-25who tookpart in mysurvey, theyall claimtoat the
least,struggle once amonth.Thingis,onlyone personansweredsayingtheystressonce amonth
whilstsix claimedtostressonce aweekwitheveryone remainingexperiencingstressmultiple times
a day. Whichis veryunderstandable.
(4.)
Helpingwiththiscampaign,Iwantedtofindwhatthose in my chosenage group findthemselves
gettingstressedaboutmostfrequent.Withhonestresponses,I amgiventhe advantage of using
these endingupwithcreating amore accurate advertisementasIhave more understanding and
knowledge of whatgetsthese mindsetsworkedup.
Easilynoticed,alotof the answersare repeatedshowingroughlyeveryoneisgoingthroughthe
same tormentfromwork, college, family, etc. A decentrange of examples forthe upcomingfinale.
(5.)
4. As everybody getsstressed, everyonewillalso have theirwaysof copingandcalming down,soI
usedthissurveytofindout whatthose waysare. With thisinformation,Icanuse thisto make an
opposite scenerytothe questionabovegivingthe projectasolutionto a stressful situation.
Again, some answersmayrepeatwhichisnotat all a badthing, but quite helpful.A few are original
whichisnice so at leasteachand everyone hasa foundsomething thathelpstake theirmindsof
what’scausingthemto getworkedup.
(6.)
Curiousforthe campaign,I wantedto see fromall whotookpart, how many foundpleasure in
helpingothers whofoundthemselves strugglingfromstress.
Understandably, noteveryone likestostepupandhelpnotwantingthe loadto be placedon them.
But there isstill the percentage whoare happytobe supportive of others. eighteen outof everyone
saidyeswhilstthe last4 answeredno. The honestyof that isveryappreciated.
(7.)
5. Followingonfromthe previousquestion, knowingthose whoenjoyhelpingthose whofind
themselvesinastressful situation,it’squite useful knowing whathelpful stepthesepeople take
whengoingoutof theirownwaywanting to cheerothersup.
Withonly seventeen of the eighteenwhoansweredyes, the responseswere quite nice and
interestingseeingall the differenttechniquespeople learn thenchoose toapply insuchsituations
towardsothers whoare indistress.Once again,there isrepetitioninsome answerslike:Talking,
beingfunny,listening,etc.Andstill thereisnothing wrongwiththat,ratheruseful forthe campaign.
(8.)
Yes, thisquestionmaynotbe a hundredpercent asuseful forthe campaignitself, although
dependingonthe production andwhatgetsdone, itcouldbe handyto have aside showingas
stressedaspeople getmoststill finddelightin puttingothersinagoodmood.
Pleasantly,all whoansweredclaimstoenjoymakingpeople happy.Fairenoughtherewill be people
whodon’t, justby my surveyalone there isnoevidence of thatbetween twnety-twohumans.
(9.)
6. Movingonto activities, itgivesalittle change tothe questions showingwhat, whennotina stressful
mood,theyall enjoydoing withtheirspare time.
Witheveryone spendingtheirspare timesdifferently, the mostpopularwaytospendtime appears
to be socialisingwithfriends asmanyothersfollow behindwithgaming,watchingtelevisionand
movies,spendingtime withtheirpartnersandfamily, etc.
(10.)
Witheveryone beingtheirownpersonsharingages,forthe campaignIwantedto explore how
people regularly feel whenitcomestobeing social. Withthisinformation, itcanbe revealedhow
these people feeldaytoday eachexperiencingthe hoursdifferentlydue tohow one percentwill be
awkwardwithsituationswhilstthe otherwillbe handlingthe problemfeelingdifferentaboutit.
Of everyone, only one statesto be anextrovertwhilsteveryone else eitherfitswithbeingan
ambivertorintrovert. Mostbeingan ambivertwith twelve of twenty-twoselectingambivert,
introvertsaren’tfallingfarbeingwithonly nine of everybodyclaimingthat’swhere theyfit.So,of all
7. beinginbetween ismostcommon forthose inmyselectedage duration.Atleast, bywhatthe
surveyclaims.
(11.)
Findingwhere peoplessafe placesare, itisevidentiallyshownnoteveryone finds comfortthe same
as the where the nextpersondoes.
An unexpectedanswerbeing“anywhere buthome”butquite understanding.Showingjustbecause
we have a family witha roof overour headsdoesn’tmeanwe can’tgetstressed overourownfamily
life orjustbeinginour ownhouses.Everyone hastheirownstories, noone shouldeverjudge orbe
judged.
(12.)
Each answerto thisquestionrevealsthe characteristicsof everyone whoparticipatedinthe survey
showinghowtheyall findthemselves.Outof all the optional adjectivesthesesurveyorscouldbe
selecting, itreallyshowswhenhalf gothe positive way whilstothersgoa more negative route. It’s
focusingonthe numberof those whochoose each side thatshowswitheveryonesharingthe
durationof age.
Witheveryresponse beingdifferenttothe next, apartfrom “funny”as seenwithtwocomments, the
answersreallyjumpupanddownwithone callingthemselves“Legend”thinkingpositivelythe next
dropsto “depressed”.Half beinglightthe nextbeingdark witha little inbetween, the repliesreally
bounce showinghoweveryone findsthemselves.
(13.)
8. As oddas thisquestionclearlyis, itcame tomindthat psychologicallycantell the personalityad
mindsetof a humanwhetheryou're sayingitabout yourself,orsomeone claimstheycansee
anotheras a certaincolourshowingwhattheythinkof that person.
Strangly, the bar charts weren’tsetupveryaccurate as the bar showingthe score of 18.2% isthose
whorespondedwithblue, thenrightnexttothatchart isanotherchart of twowhosaidto be blue.
Thenagain forthe oneswhoclaimedtosee themselvesas grey,redandpurple.
(14.)
Carryingon the activitytalk;accordingto studies,studentswhotake partinextracurricularactivities
foundto have an impactof decreasedlevelstowards bothstressandworry gainingahigherlevel of

(15.)
9. Basedon the studyas mentionedabove, itwasquestionablewhetherthose whotookpartinthe
surveyclaimingtheydodo extraactivities feltthe impactthe studiesclaim.
Oddlyenough, three extrasansweredthisquestionwhenonly elevenpeople answeredsayingyeson
the last question.Takingaguess,fromthe fourwhoadmittedthe activitiesdonothelpmotivate
them,onlyone persondoesactuallytake partincurricularactivities.
(16.)
Whenit comesto comfort,everyone hastheirownindividual ideasonwhatthatis.With twenty-two
people lettingme knowwhattheyfindcomfortindoing,thatinformationhelpsthe campaignmove
ontoa more personal levelwiththe audience havingvarious suggestions relatingtomore thanjust
one.Yes,somethingsomeone doestocomfortthemselves maynotbe expressedasthatanswer
won’thave beenaddedtothe pie chart, butthe range of multiplecommunicatesthatbetterthan
onlyusingone as an example forthe project.
Beingthe highestpercentage,gettingcozytowatch onesselectedcomfortmovieappearstobe the
mostpopularmove accordingto the nine whochose that with videogamesbeingthe lowest having
one. But once again,that’sonlytwenty-twooutof sevenbillion, everyone's differenthavingtheir
ownthingsto considercomfort.
(17.)
10. Ratherthan straightup assumingeveryone whotookpartinthe surveyhas a comfort
person/character,itseemedbettertofindoutfirstgivingthema chance to say theydon’t. Withthe
subjectof bothbeingstressedandwhatmakesone happy, some people have someoneor
somethingthey prefertoturnto.
Withonlythree admittingtheydon’t,it’sinterestingtofindwho the restfindcomfortinmost.
Highestnumberbeing6people selectingtheyrelymostona fictional characterthananyone real.
(18.)
To endthe survey,I attemptedfinishingoff withsomethingmore formal showingmy appreciation
and requestinganysuggestionsor/andopinionsontargetingthe surveyitself.
Takingfrom the topthree answers,Iwill tryto keeptheminmindforthe nexttime a surveyis
createdfor anyfuture projects givinganimproved, upgraded outcome basedonthe feedback
receivedbythissurvey.
