2. Epic Integration
Compliance with Epic systems
integrations into EMR’s on secure
features: Secure release, Find-me

Mobility Print (Cloud Print)
Additional Failover Options
Maximize uptime in more
environments (High Availability)
6. Official Integrations
Epic
PaperCut is now available on Epic’s App Orchard gallery.
Cerner
PaperCut MF works out of the box with Cerner - with some caveats
around having the correct resources available for an
implementation.
Others
There are many examples of Papercut
working in EMR environments
7. EMR Integration
Patient Records are more secure with PaperCut MF.
With new Epic compliance and further Cerner support, hospitals and
healthcare providers now have strong print management features
like secure printing, Find-me printing and print log tracking.
8. EMR Integration
PaperCut, in consultation with Epic, has built a web service that allows
PaperCut to receive jobs from the Epic Print Server (EPS)
This module is applicable and palatable for SME organizations such as clinics,
through to large enterprise style hospitals.
This module is required for Epic Systems installations post
2018 (this is a majority of their install base)
When implementing PaperCut in a Cerner
environment - no such module is required
however some network manipulation is required
to ensure access to the print jobs.
9. Epic Integration with Papercut Epic App

11. Enhancing Print Deploy
Print Deploy allows you to easily deploy printer drivers and print
queues to the right people at the right location, automatically.
We’re continuing to reduce IT burden with new features...
12. Self-Service Printer Installation
IP ranges don’t entirely reflect physical
locations for distributed sites..
Users need to choose speciality or
specific printers (e.g. color printers)
13. IT admins can now choose to deploy
printers that will automatically be installed
or optionally installed by the user
‘Friendly’ zone names that help users decide which printers
to install based on where they are

17. The opportunity
Google Cloud Print is going away the end of the year
Google Cloud Print is used by millions of users, especially in education
Some organizations who are looking for an alternative to Google

Google Cloud Print
Coming June/July users can also print over the
internet from Mac, Windows and Chromebooks
Available as part of:
- PaperCut MF
- Mobility Print (without PaperCut MF)
20. A new in-app solution to protect the PaperCut
Application Server where clustering or
virtualization technologies cannot provide failover.
* Requires a Network Load Balancer (NLB)
21. Automatic Application Server Failover
Alternative high availability solution to protect PaperCut Application Server Layer
Maximises PaperCut Application Server uptime
Provides self healing in event of application level failure
Supports external components
- Secondary Servers
- Site Servers
- Embeddeds
- User Client
Supports web based embeddeds and fully embedded MFDs
23. 20.0 supports additional MFD platforms.

24. Device scripting allows Administrators, Resellers or ASCs to write
some JavaScript code to customize the experience at the MFD
There is a lot of power with device scripting as it can be used to
solve a number of unique customer use cases
