Personal StatementChoosing to pursue an undergraduate degree in Entrepreneurship at USF St. Petersburg is the greatest
impulse decision I’ve ever made. I’d struggled to find motivation and interest in college while juggling a
business and a part-time job. The opportunities USF St. Petersburg provides has changed my
perspective.
Learning creative problem solving for business at USF St. Petersburg, I realized how much I loved hands-
on facilitation with business owners and employees, endeavoring to solve their problems and make their
work environment a more positive, productive place.
The experience I’ve gained working with Mahila Partnership, a non-profit organization, has given me the
perfect outlet to apply my collegiate studies. Their impact investing model and my small business
strategy skills intertwine to create programs that help women and girls create sustainable enterprises in
rural villages that solve community problems like menstrual health and hygiene.
I spend a great deal of time devoted to helping small businesses through my sole consulting practice. It’s
my second entrepreneurial endeavor but it has been directly sown and nurtured through my education
at USF St. Petersburg. My goal is to take that consulting firm and build it into a lifelong impact-journey to
invest in entrepreneurs everywhere.
