Work scope involves systematic and sequential execution of the following critical responsibilities on
every project
 ANALYSIS AND INITIAL PREPARATORY ACTIVITIES
 Once received the order we check thoroughly about this project.
 Clear check the job costing sheet accordingly order the local materials
 Preparing detailed work program for vertical transportation systems [Elevator].
 Preparing scaffolding sketch and Coordination with civil contractor to arrange for the scaffolding
as per our standard requirement for elevator installation.
 Procurement of local installation materials required for the installation and testing commissioning
works for vertical transportation systems.
 Mainly focus in Safety, Quality, Cost controlling
 DESIGN ACTIVITIES
 Designing Steel supports items [Sill angles, clits, I beam etc... as per our required for vertical
transportation system.
 Designing optimum size feeder for traction motor to control panel and Isolator to control panel for
elevators.
 SITE MONITORING ACTIVITIES
 Monitoring the daily site activities of installation technicians.
 Preparation of Daily Site reports and Weekly Roll over Program and preparation of progress
reports.

 Preparation of Monthly reports and safety reports.
 Job allocation through appropriate man power with usage of approved materials.
 SAFETY MONITORING ACTIVITIES
 Conducting safety precautions and awareness to the technicians
 Taking tool box talks to the technicians for each activity wise.
 Explaining the importance of construction site safety hazards.
 Taking safety patrol for scaffolding related topics.
 Conducting personal protective equipment [PPE] awareness.
 Preparation of Monthly reports and safety reports
 INSTALLATION, TESTING AND COMMISIONING ACTIVITIES
 Studying the manufacturer’s technical manuals and carry out the vertical transportation system
installation as per the approved specification and international standards.
 Raising trouble reports to factory in case of faulty equipments.
 Installing and testing the Elevator monitoring systems if specified in the approved technical
specification.
 Testing the equipments of vertical transportation systems as per the manufacturer’s technical
manuals and preparing test reports.
 Commissioning the vertical transportation systems as per the manufacturer’s technical manuals
and preparing initial and final commissioning reports.
 CO ORDINATION ACTIVITIES
 Maintaining work progress reports on a daily basis and coordinating the same with contractor /
consultant.
 Coordination with other MEP contractors for interfacing the elevators with Fire alarm system and
Building monitoring system if specified in the specification.
 Attending periodic meetings with the clients to discuss the work progress in vertical transportation
system installation.
 Frequent coordination with the consultants to review the work progress and also any technical
clarification.

 Preparing Operation & Maintenance manuals (O & M manual) for the clients/consultant
requirement while handing over of the elevators.
 INSPECTION AND FINAL PREPARATORY ACTIVITIES
 Attending third party inspections to get the clearance for Construction, operational and safety
features of vertical transportation systems.
 Attending Civil defense inspections to get the clearance for civil defense safety requirements for
vertical transportation systems [if required]
 MY JOB RESPOSIBILITIES
 Attending joint survey with sales people and taking building report
 Preparing detailed work program for elevator
 Preparing scaffolding sketch, with all our safety requirements for submit to main contractor
 Bracket ordering, and Installation material ordering
 Supervise and monitor mechanical and electrical installation works.
 Preparing daily reports and weekly reports.
 Preparing monthly installation reports and submit to head office.
 Conducting tools box talks and safety walk.
 Allocating proper manpower and arranging materials to execute the project.
 Raising trouble reports to factory in case of faulty equipments.
 Studying the manufacturer’s technical manuals and carry out the elevators works as per the
approved specification.
 Involving in Testing and Commissioning activities, trouble shooting.
 Attending third party inspections and Consultant inspection to get the clearance for elevator.
 Preparing and submitting O& M manual, As built Drawing
