3. ‘USE OF ‘YOU HAVE’
YOU HAVE WITH THIRD FORM OF VERB:
You have done too many crimes.
You have eaten the chocolate in a single bite.
You have fallen down the cliff, as you were
standing on the edge.
You have given three weeks to complete your
task.
4. USE OF ‘YOU WILL’
‘You will’ with first form of verb:
You will complete your task
tomorrow.
You will be considered as the
captain of the team.
You will come across many
difficulties in life.
5. You will be with continuous verb(ing):
You will be knowing it by tomorrow.
You will be completing your task today
You will be selecting the pictures in the evening
6. ‘You are’ can be used in two forms:
‘You are’ with Present continuous verb( ing):
Incorrect: you are perform
correct: you are performing
You are performing in the play with great
interest.
You are being chosen in the competition.
You are watching documentary on television
You are improving your grammatical
mistakes day by day.
You are bleeding badly since the fight has
finished.
Use of ‘yoU are’
7. You are chosen for the art workshop.
You are taken as a brave girl in the team.
You are beaten by the bad boys in the street.
You are driven out by the cruel boss.
8. ‘You were’ can be used with the second form
of verb and as well as with third form of
verb. We can also use it with verb (ing)
continuous form but it depends on the
sentence.
Example: (second form of verb)
You were born on 31 January
Example : (third form of verb)
You were seen eating chewing gum in the
school.
Example: (continuous form of verb)
You were cleaning the table.
