Information Architecture for the Web Term Project As group we had to think of a social or technical problem that can be addressed with a website and then develop a strategy report, sitemap blueprint, content inventory, and wireframe.
–Developed an understanding of the basic principles of how human organize information and access content on websites.
–Became familiar with the elements of website information architecture, characteristics of each element, and their application in web design.
–Able to critique a website’s strengths and weaknesses in terms of web information access, content organization, and navigation structures.

–Developed a strategic plan for a web site information architecture that meets the needs of its users and sponsors Innovation, Creative Problem Solving, & the Social Entrepreneur Project Five week group project where fifteen entrepreneur students worked together and explored approaches to solving a specific social-preneurship problem that was too ambiguous, complex, or messy to be addressed directly through traditional strategies. In order to do this we worked with a local, socially motivated entrepreneur and their organization to develop solution sets to a real-world complex problem.

Structured Systems Analysis and Design Project Manager As a project manager I lead four teammates through a semester long project where we analyzed and designed a system for the Center for Women in Technology department.
–Further developed leadership skills and project management as project manager. In this role I organized meeting times, set deadlines for deliverables, acted as a mediator when conflicts occurred, and made sure all necessary components of the project were completed fully and on time.
–Built the necessary background to tackle systems analysis and design problems commonly encountered in the real world.
–Applied knowledge gained in the class room by implementing it in the project.
