I'm looking for a senior IT communications specialist position (as a contractor or employee) in
healthcare.
I currently serve as a communications analyst for Honda's IT department, where I create marketing
plans, key messages, web pages, presentations, videos, surveys, town halls, user documentation and
training, photos, graphics, and email broadcasts for multiple projects, including the improved video
conferencing system, mobile devices, and SAP launch. At UC Irvine Health I encouraged user adoption of
the electronic medical record system. I used my project management, writing, web design, photography,
and videography skills in this extensive effort to guide physicians and other medical staff through a
dramatic change in their workflow.
I'm very creative and energetic, with strong writing and editing skills. I've applied my business education
to various entrepreneurial endeavors and corporate positions in industries ranging from automotive to
healthcare. I'm a good listener and ask questions, which enables me to take complex or technical
concepts and present them in an understandable, engaging manner. I have both strategic and hands-on
tactical skills, including graphics and photography.
