11.  Safety is “Job One” at AmSpec. All new hire laboratory and field staff are trained
and assessed prior to being allowed to work independently, regardless of their
previous industry experience.
 Training is comprised of classroom, office and field sessions based on API,
customer and industry standards.
 AmSpec requires inspectors to take the IFIA certification exam as soon as they are
eligible.
 Annual refresher training is performed as required under the AmSpec Quality
Management System, utilizing classroom and online methods.
