Supervised 20-25 assembly and maintenance employees during the 7PM-7AM shift. Oversaw training, with an emphasis
on safety and productivity. Assisted operators and maintenance in troubleshooting new and recurring issues. Oversaw
production quality and ensured customer satisfaction. Investigated accidents, close calls and other safety incidents.
Participated in the Safety Committee and helped implement new best work practices.
AVENTICS: Engineering Intern - January 2014 – May 2015
Interned in the Manufacturing, Operations, and Engineering department as well as assisted with the Health, Safety and
Environmental department. Defined manufacturing and assembly processes which included reducing human error,
improving ergonomics and updating testing procedures for pneumatic valves. Assisted on in performing time studies on
current assembly practices. Documented changes to work instructions, processes, and safety procedures. Reviewed and
revised environmental and safety policies while leading the plants ISO 14001 update. Updated and corrected SDS
documentation, in preparation of the new Globally Harmonized System.
University of Kentucky: Ingels Residence Hall Desk Clerk - 2012-2013
Monitored dorm entrances and exits. Checked guests in and out. Reported situations to residence advisors, hall director,
or campus police as appropriate. Assisted the Resident Advisors and Residence Hall Director in times of emergency.
