Present Safety Officer(HSEO)
 To report directly to HSE Manager.
 To be Subject Matter Expert(SME) on all HSE related issues and matters.
 To conduct daily morning and afternoon inspection walks on the yard/vessels
and record/report any unsafe acts and non-compliances which may result in near
misses or potential accidents.
 To ensure relevant permit to work forms are on site with appropriate authorized
signatures and relevant risk assessments are attached to them.
 To generate weekly inspection reports on operational workforce at yard and
onboard vessels.
 To generate weekly environmental reports on section housekeeping of office
areas and prevention of mosquito breeding.
 To raise violation and counseling forms against workers, supervisors and
subcontractors who contravene in any non-compliances, unsafe acts and
behaviours.
 To oversee the investigation of all industrial / non-industrial accidents and near
misses occurring in the workplaces to all Alpine direct employees and
subcontractors, and report all the cases to Alpine management group.
 To ensure statements of relevant personnel, including supervisor, co-workers
and witnesses, who may be involved in a late reporting potential industrial
accident, are properly recorded.
 To ensure incident reports of all industrial accidents and near miss cases are
properly and accurately created and filed.
 To ensure medical cases and reviews related to industrial accidents on all
Alpine direct employees and subcontractors are followed up.
 To ensure all Alpine direct employee medical status related to industrial
accidents are recorded and maintained.
 To ensure Alpine direct employees medical review appointments related to
industrial accidents are kept tracked and followed up.
 To ensure workers’ medical concerns related to industrial accidents are attended
to.
 To update and submit incident trackers summary to Alpine management on
weekly basis.
 To update and submit safety statistic report to yard and Alpine management by
8th of every month.

Alpine Monthly Management Meetings.

Find out why they are not able to give the quotes and report back to the Managing Director.  Meet up current and new suppliers to know about their new range of products.  Generate sample submission reports of items from suppliers so that the QC Department can check for dimension conformities.
