Welcome to the 24th Annual MCO
As a long time resident of Madison, I am honored to be this year's
Tournament Director for the 24th Annual Mad City Open. I was
introduced to disc golf in 1998 at a pig farm in Iowa which had just
one basket in the front yard, but I was instantly hooked. Eighteen
years later I am still throwing discs with the friends I made that
day! I hope this tournament brings an environment for everyone
involved, players, staff, volunteers, spectators, and even the
sponsors, to create the same type of instant and long standing
friendships that I have experienced. Thank you all for participating
and being part of our local culture for a weekend; we look forward
to seeing you for the 25th Annual. Cheers!
