Greetings Disc Golfers, Welcome to Madison and the 2016 PDGA Amateur & Junior Disc Golf World Championships presented by Innova. The figurative journey began last year when you earned an invitation to this event. For the U.S. competitors, getting here also required lightning quick reflexes as soon as registration opened! The literal journey for some of you was just a short car ride while others traveled over 10,000 miles to be here. There are 576 competitors here representing nine countries and 41 U.S. States. Whatever path you took to get here, we thank you for coming. Since May of 2015 when we were awarded the honor of hosting this event, Mad City Disc Golf, Rebel Disc Golf Club, Madison Parks, Dane County Parks, Village of Marshall Parks & Recreation and Madison Area Sports Commission have been working hard to make this a great experience for you. Directions to Bird’s Ruins at Charles Langer Family Park from Crowne Plaza Madison (approximately 14 miles / 22 minutes) 1. Head northeast on US Hwy 151 (East Washington Ave.) for 4.4 miles 2. Take Exit 101 for Business Hwy 151 / Main St., and turn right onto Main St. 3. Head east on Main St. for 1.9 miles 4. At Bristol St., continue straight on Main St., which is now also WIS Hwy 19 5. Continue east on WIS Hwy 19 for 5.8 miles 6. Turn left onto County Hwy TT 7. Head north on County Hwy TT for 0.5 miles 8. Turn right at stop sign to stay on County Hwy TT 9. Head east on County Hwy TT for 0.6 miles 10. After railroad tracks, turn right onto Canal Rd. 11. Head east on Canal Rd. for 0.8 miles 12. Parking for Bird’s Ruins DGC is on the left. Overflow parking is just across the water to the west in the gravel lot on the south side of Canal Rd.

Head northeast on US Hwy 151 (East Washington Ave.) for 0.8 miles 2. Take Exit 97A for I-39 South & I-90/94 East towards Chicago & Milwaukee 3. Merge onto I-39/90/94 and head south for 1.5 miles (move to left lanes) 4. Take Exit 138A (left side exit!!) for I-94 East towards Milwaukee 5. Head east on I-94 for 10.4 miles 6. Take Exit 250 for WIS Hwy 73/Marshall /Deerfield, and turn left on WIS Hwy 73 towards Marshall 7. Head north on WIS Hwy 73 for 4.3 miles 8. Turn right on WIS Hwy 19/73 (Main St.) 9. Head east on WIS Hwy 19/73 (Main St.) for 0.2 miles (one block) 10. Turn left on WIS Hwy 73 (Hubbell St.) 11. Head north on WIS Hwy 73 (Hubbell St.) for 1.1 miles 12. Turn left on Canal Rd. 13. Directions to Capital Springs DGC at Lake Farm County Park from Crowne Plaza Madison (Approximately 13 miles / 15 minutes) 1. Head northeast on US Hwy 151 (East Washington Ave.) for 0.8 miles 2. Take Exit 97A for I-39 South & I-90/94 East towards Chicago & Milwaukee 3. Merge onto I-39/90/94 and head south for 1.5 miles 4. Keep right to stay on I-39/90 towards Chicago 5. Continue south on I-39/90 for 4.1 miles 6. Take Exit 142A for US Hwy 12/18 West towards Madison 7. Merge onto US Hwy 12/18 west and continue for 3.8 miles 8. Take Exit 264 for West Broadway and turn left at traffic signal onto South Towne Dr 9. Head south on South Towne Dr. for 0.3 miles 10. Use right lane at roundabout to continue south on South Towne Dr for another 0.6 miles 11. Turn left onto Moorland Rd. 12. Head east on Moorland Rd. for 0.5 miles 13. Road curves to the right (south) and becomes Lake Farm Rd. 14. Continue south on Lake Farm Rd. for 0.6 miles 15. Entrance to Capital Springs DGC is on the right. Once in the driveway, bypass the first parking lot (for dog park) and continue on the driveway back to the disc golf course and parking. Overflow parking is available in the dog park parking lot.
Directions to Elver Park from Crowne Plaza Madison (approximately 20 miles / 24 minutes) 1. Head northeast on US Hwy 151 (East Washington Ave.) for 0.8 miles 2. Take Exit 97A for I-39 South & I-90/94 East towards Chicago & Milwaukee 3. Merge onto I-39/90/94 and head south for 1.5 miles 4. Keep right to stay on I-39/90 towards Chicago 5. Merge onto US Hwy 12/18 west and continue for 8.4 miles 8. ** CONSTRUCTION ZONE starting at Todd Dr. Be alert for lane shifts and drive safely! ** 9. Stay left to continue west on US Hwy 12/14 towards Baraboo / LaCrosse for another 3.4 miles 10. Take Exit 255 for Gammon Rd., and turn left at traffic signal onto Gammon Rd. 11. Head south on Gammon Rd. for 1.2 miles (road name changes to McKenna Blvd after 0.8 miles) 12. Entrance to Elver Park is on the right at the traffic signal. Once in the driveway, enter the first parking lot on the left. Overflow parking is further down the entrance driveway. Course HQ is the larger shelter to the right of the splash pad. First tee is across the field behind the splash pad... look for the kiosks.
Directions to Hiestand Park from Crowne Plaza Madison (approximately 3 miles / 8 minutes) 1. Head southwest (towards downtown Madison) on US Hwy 151 (East Washington Ave.) for 0.9 miles 2. Turn left onto US 51 South (Stoughton Rd.) 3. Continue south on US 51 (Stoughton Rd) for 1 mile 4. After crossing underneath the bridge for WIS Hwy 30, stay right to take Exit for Milwaukee St./Corporate Dr. 5. Once on the ramp, stay left to continue towards Milwaukee St. 6. When approaching the traffic signal at Milwaukee St., use one of the lanes marked for left-turn only, but do not take the leftmost lane marked for US Hwy 51 North. 7. Turn left at the traffic signal onto Milwaukee St. 8. Head east on Milwaukee St. for 0.3 miles 9. Turn left onto Wittwer Rd. 10. Hiestand Park is on the right side of Wittwer Rd. There is no parking lot, so please park on Wittwer Rd. The first tee is on the hill behind the baseball backstop... look for the kiosk. 11. Glide Disc Golf is directly across Wittwer Rd. from the park. The parking lot for their building is only for those visiting Glide and the other building tenants. DO NOT park in that lot or the other parking lots for neighboring businesses or apartments when playing the course.
Directions to Vallarta-Ast at Token Creek from Crowne Plaza Madison (approximately 6 miles / 9 minutes) 1. Head northeast on US Hwy 151 (East Washington Ave.) for 1.1 miles 2. Take Exit 97B for I-39 North and I-90/94 West towards Wis Dells 3. Merge onto I-39/90/94 and continue north for 2.9 miles 4. Take Exit 132 for US Hwy 51/Madison/DeForest 5. Stay to the right on the exit ramp for US Hwy 51 N. 6. Merge onto US Hwy 51 North, but stay in far right lane for 0.2 miles (past the truck stop) 7. Turn right onto Williamsburg Way (follow signs for Token Creek County Park) 8. Head east on Williamsburg Way for 0.1 miles 9. Turn right onto Token Creek Ln. to enter park 10. Follow Token Creek Ln. for 0.9 miles through park (speed limit in park is 15 mph) 11. Primary parking is near kiosks by tees for Holes #1 & 19. Course HQ is at Shelter #3, on the right side as you approach the disc golf course and kiosks, surrounded by Holes #1-4 of the course. The paved parking lot closest to Shelter #3 is reserved for tournament staff during the event. Please observe signs for available parking and for areas where disc golf parking is not allowed. Other nearby park shelters may be used during the event, so please respect those users and do not park in areas marked as “No Disc Golf Parking”.
Directions between Hiestand Park and Capital Springs DGC (approximately 8 miles / 13 minutes) 1. From Witter Dr, turn right onto Milwaukee St. 2. Head west on Milwaukee St. for 0.3 miles 3. Turn left onto on-ramp to US Hwy 51 South (Stoughton Rd.) 4. Head south on US Hwy 51 (Stoughton Rd.) for 3.4 miles 5. Follow signs to US Hwy 12/18 West. 6. Immediately after passing traffic signal at Broadway, stay right to access on-ramp to US Hwy 12/18 West. 7. Merge onto US Hwy 12/18 and continue west for 2.2 miles 8. Take Exit 264 for West Broadway and turn left at traffic signal onto South Towne Dr. 9. Head south on South Towne Dr. for 0.3 miles 10. Use right lane at roundabout to continue south on South Towne Dr for another 0.6 miles (road name changes to Raywood Rd.) 11. Turn left onto Moorland Rd. 12. Head east on Moorland Rd. for 0.5 miles 13. Road curves to the right (south) and becomes Lake Farm Rd. 14. Continue south on Lake Farm Rd. for 0.6 miles 15. Entrance to Capital Springs DGC is on the right. Once in the driveway, bypass the first parking lot (for dog park) and continue on the driveway back to the disc golf course and parking.
Directions between Capital Springs DGC and Hiestand Park (approximately 8 miles / 13 minutes) 1. From entrance driveway, turn left onto Lake Farm Rd. 2. Head north on Lake Farm Rd. for 0.6 miles 3. Road curves to left and becomes Moorland Rd. 4. Continue west on Moorland Rd. for 0.5 miles 5. Turn right onto Raywood Rd. 6. Head north on Raywood Rd. for 0.6 miles (road name changes to South Towne Dr.) 7. Use right lane at roundabout to continue north on South Towne Dr for another 0.3 miles 8. Turn right onto on-ramp to US Hwy 12/18 East 9. Merge onto US Hwy 12/18 and continue east for 1.9 miles 10. Take Exit 266 for US Hwy 51/Stoughton Rd. 11. Turn left onto US Hwy 51 North/Stoughton Rd. 12. Head north on US Hwy 51/Stoughton Rd. for 3.6 miles 13. Take Exit for Milwaukee St. 14. Turn right onto Milwaukee St. 15. Head east on Milwaukee St. for 0.3 miles 16. Turn left onto Wittwer Rd. 17. Hiestand Park is on the right side of Wittwer Rd.
Driving Directions between Semifinals and Finals (Vallarta-Ast DGC) Please note, we expect large crowds at Vallarta- Ast at Token Creek County Park for the Finals, especially as competitors in the Semifinals arrive after their morning rounds. Most people will need to park further away from Course HQ (Shelter 3) than they did for their preliminary rounds earlier in the week. Please allow for extra time and observe signs for available parking and for areas where disc golf parking is not allowed. Other nearby park shelters will be used on Saturday, respect those users and do not park in areas marked as “No Disc Golf Parking”. Thank You!
Directions from Hiestand Park to Vallarta-Ast at Token Creek County Park (approximately 10 miles / 13 minutes) 1. From Witter Dr, turn right onto Milwaukee St. 2. Head west on Milwaukee St. for 0.3 miles 3. Turn right onto on-ramp to US Hwy 51 North (Stoughton Rd.) 4. Stay in far right lane when merging onto US Hwy 51N (Stoughton Rd.) 5. Turn right onto on-ramp to WIS Hwy 30 6. Merge onto I-39/90/94 and head east for 1.5 miles 7. Take left side exit for I-39 North & I-90/94 West towards Wis Dells 8. Merge onto I-39/90/94 and head north for 5.7 miles 9. Take Exit 132 for US Hwy 51 / Madison / DeForest 10. Stay to the right on the exit ramp for US Hwy 51N 11. Merge onto US Hwy 51 North, but stay in far right lane for 0.2 miles(past the truck stop) 12. Turn right onto Williamsburg Way (follow signs for Token Creek County Park) 13. Head east on Williamsburg Way for 0.1 miles 14. Turn right onto Token Creek Ln. to enter park 15. Follow Token Creek Ln. for 0.9 miles through park (speed limit in park is 15 mph) 16. Course HQ is at Shelter #3, which is on the right side as you approach the disc golf course and kiosks, and is surrounded by Holes #1-4 of the course. Alternate route avoiding interstate: In Step 4 above, merge onto US Hwy 51 North and move into through lanes. Head north on US Hwy 51 for 6.3 miles, and resume at Step 12.
Directions from Bird’s Ruins DGC to Vallarta-Ast at Token Creek County Park (Approximately 15 miles / 24 minutes) 1. Head west on Canal Rd for 0.9 miles 2. Turn left onto County Hwy TT (caution: railroad tracks) 3. Head west on County Hwy TT for 0.6 miles 4. Follow curve to left to stay on County Hwy TT for another 0.5 miles 5. Turn right onto WIS Hwy 19 6. Head west on WIS Hwy 19 for 5.8 miles 7. In downtown Sun Prairie, turn right onto Bristol St. to stay on WIS Hwy 19 8. Head north on Bristol St./WIS Hwy 19 for 0.3 miles 9. Turn left on Windsor St. to stay on WIS Hwy 19 10. Head west on Windsor St./WIS Hwy 19 for 5.4 miles 11. Turn left onto Williamsburg Way 2. Head south on Williamsburg Way (take Williamsburg Way exit at roundabout) for 0.6 miles 13. Turn left onto Token Creek Ln. to enter park 14. Follow Token Creek Ln. for 0.9 miles through park (speed limit in park is 15 mph) 15. Course HQ is at Shelter #3, which is on the right side as you approach the disc golf course and kiosks, and is surrounded by Holes #1-4 of the course.
Directions to Reindahl Park (Field Events) from Crowne Plaza Madison (approximately .3 miles / 10 minute walk) 1. Reindahl Park is only 0.3 miles west of the host hotel, so please consider taking a short walk! 2. If driving, take either East Washington Ave (in front of hotel) or Dwight Dr. (behind hotel) southwest for a couple of blocks to Portage Rd. 3. Turn right on Portage Rd. 4. Reindahl Park is on your left. Please utilize the park entrance off of Portage Rd. on the northeast side of the park, directly across from Duke St. 5. Field Event HQ will be in a large PDGA tent near one of the two large parking lots. Please check-in there for directions to the various events. 6. Please DO NOT park in the parking lot accessed from Parkside Dr. in the southeast portion of the park, near the shelter and playground. We are reserving this lot for other park users.
Directions to Sun Prairie HS Performing Arts Center from Crowne Plaza Madison (approximately 8 miles / 14 minutes) 1. Head northeast on US Hwy 151 (East Washington Ave.) for 4.4 miles 2. Take Exit 101 for Business Hwy 151/Main St., and turn right onto Main St. 3. Head east on Main St. for 1.9 miles 4. At Bristol St., continue straight on Main St., which is now also WIS Hwy 19 5. Continue east on WIS Hwy 19 for 0.4 miles 6. Turn right on County Hwy N (Grove St.) 7. Head south on County Hwy N (Grove St.) for 0.5 miles 8. Turn right into Sun Prairie High School at Learning Pl. 9. Please park in the lots on the right (north) side of Learning Pl.

  • 3. Greetings Disc Golfers, Welcome to Madison and the 2016 PDGA Amateur & Junior Disc Golf World Championships presented by Innova. The figurative journey began last year when you earned an invitation to this event. For the U.S. competitors, getting here also required lightning quick reflexes as soon as registration opened! The literal journey for some of you was just a short car ride while others traveled over 10,000 miles to be here. There are 576 competitors here representing nine countries and 41 U.S. States. Whatever path you took to get here, we thank you for coming. Since May of 2015 when we were awarded the honor of hosting this event, Mad City Disc Golf, Rebel Disc Golf Club, Madison Parks, Dane County Parks, Village of Marshall Parks & Recreation and Madison Area Sports Commission have been working hard to make this a great experience for you. Once in the driveway, enter the first parking lot on the left. Overflow parking is further down the entrance driveway. Course HQ is the larger shelter to the right of the splash pad. First tee is across the field behind the splash pad... look for the kiosks.
  • 39. Directions to Hiestand Park from Crowne Plaza Madison (approximately 3 miles / 8 minutes) 1. Head southwest (towards downtown Madison) on US Hwy 151 (East Washington Ave.) for 0.9 miles 2. Turn left onto US 51 South (Stoughton Rd.) 3. Continue south on US 51 (Stoughton Rd) for 1 mile 4. After crossing underneath the bridge for WIS Hwy 30, stay right to take Exit for Milwaukee St./Corporate Dr. 5. Once on the ramp, stay left to continue towards Milwaukee St. 6. When approaching the traffic signal at Milwaukee St., use one of the lanes marked for left-turn only, but do not take the leftmost lane marked for US Hwy 51 North. 7. Turn left at the traffic signal onto Milwaukee St. 8. Head east on Milwaukee St. for 0.3 miles 9. Turn left onto Wittwer Rd. 10. Hiestand Park is on the right side of Wittwer Rd. There is no parking lot, so please park on Wittwer Rd. The first tee is on the hill behind the baseball backstop... look for the kiosk. 11. Glide Disc Golf is directly across Wittwer Rd. from the park. The parking lot for their building is only for those visiting Glide and the other building tenants. DO NOT park in that lot or the other parking lots for neighboring businesses or apartments when playing the course.

Stay to the right on the exit ramp for US Hwy 51 N. 6. Merge onto US Hwy 51 North, but stay in far right lane for 0.2 miles (past the truck stop) 7. Turn right onto Williamsburg Way (follow signs for Token Creek County Park) 8. Head east on Williamsburg Way for 0.1 miles 9. Turn right onto Token Creek Ln. to enter park 10. Follow Token Creek Ln. for 0.9 miles through park (speed limit in park is 15 mph) 11. Primary parking is near kiosks by tees for Holes #1 & 19. Course HQ is at Shelter #3, on the right side as you approach the disc golf course and kiosks, surrounded by Holes #1-4 of the course. The paved parking lot closest to Shelter #3 is reserved for tournament staff during the event. Please observe signs for available parking and for areas where disc golf parking is not allowed. Other nearby park shelters may be used during the event, so please respect those users and do not park in areas marked as “No Disc Golf Parking”.

Immediately after passing traffic signal at Broadway, stay right to access on-ramp to US Hwy 12/18 West. 7. Merge onto US Hwy 12/18 and continue west for 2.2 miles 8. Take Exit 264 for West Broadway and turn left at traffic signal onto South Towne Dr. 9. Head south on South Towne Dr. for 0.3 miles 10. Use right lane at roundabout to continue south on South Towne Dr for another 0.6 miles (road name changes to Raywood Rd.) 11. Turn left onto Moorland Rd. 12. Head east on Moorland Rd. for 0.5 miles 13. Road curves to the right (south) and becomes Lake Farm Rd. 14. Continue south on Lake Farm Rd. for 0.6 miles 15. Entrance to Capital Springs DGC is on the right. Once in the driveway, bypass the first parking lot (for dog park) and continue on the driveway back to the disc golf course and parking.
  • 42. Directions between Capital Springs DGC and Hiestand Park (approximately 8 miles / 13 minutes) 1. From entrance driveway, turn left onto Lake Farm Rd. 2. Head north on Lake Farm Rd. for 0.6 miles 3. Road curves to left and becomes Moorland Rd. 4. Continue west on Moorland Rd. for 0.5 miles 5. Turn right onto Raywood Rd. 6. Head north on Raywood Rd. for 0.6 miles (road name changes to South Towne Dr.) 7. Use right lane at roundabout to continue north on South Towne Dr for another 0.3 miles 8. Turn right onto on-ramp to US Hwy 12/18 East 9. Merge onto US Hwy 12/18 and continue east for 1.9 miles 10. Take Exit 266 for US Hwy 51/Stoughton Rd. 11. Driving Directions between Semifinals and Finals (Vallarta-Ast DGC) Please note, we expect large crowds at Vallarta- Ast at Token Creek County Park for the Finals, especially as competitors in the Semifinals arrive after their morning rounds. Most people will need to park further away from Course HQ (Shelter 3) than they did for their preliminary rounds earlier in the week. Please allow for extra time and observe signs for available parking and for areas where disc golf parking is not allowed. Other nearby park shelters will be used on Saturday, respect those users and do not park in areas marked as “No Disc Golf Parking”. Thank You!
  • 44. Directions from Hiestand Park to Vallarta-Ast at Token Creek County Park (approximately 10 miles / 13 minutes) 1. From Witter Dr, turn right onto Milwaukee St. 2. Head west on Milwaukee St. for 0.3 miles 3. Turn right onto on-ramp to US Hwy 51 North (Stoughton Rd.) 4. Stay in far right lane when merging onto US Hwy 51N (Stoughton Rd.) 5. Turn right onto on-ramp to WIS Hwy 30 6. Merge onto I-39/90/94 and head east for 1.5 miles 7. Take left side exit for I-39 North & I-90/94 West towards Wis Dells 8. Merge onto I-39/90/94 and head north for 5.7 miles 9. Take Exit 132 for US Hwy 51 / Madison / DeForest 10. Stay to the right on the exit ramp for US Hwy 51N 11. Merge onto US Hwy 51 North, but stay in far right lane for 0.2 miles(past the truck stop) 12. Turn right onto Williamsburg Way (follow signs for Token Creek County Park) 13. Head east on Williamsburg Way for 0.1 miles 14. Turn right onto Token Creek Ln. to enter park 15. Follow Token Creek Ln. for 0.9 miles through park (speed limit in park is 15 mph) 16. Course HQ is at Shelter #3, which is on the right side as you approach the disc golf course and kiosks, and is surrounded by Holes #1-4 of the course. Alternate route avoiding interstate: In Step 4 above, merge onto US Hwy 51 North and move into through lanes. Head north on US Hwy 51 for 6.3 miles, and resume at Step 12.

Turn left onto County Hwy TT (caution: railroad tracks) 3. Head west on County Hwy TT for 0.6 miles 4. Follow curve to left to stay on County Hwy TT for another 0.5 miles 5. Turn right onto WIS Hwy 19 6. Head west on WIS Hwy 19 for 5.8 miles 7. In downtown Sun Prairie, turn right onto Bristol St. to stay on WIS Hwy 19 8. Head north on Bristol St./WIS Hwy 19 for 0.3 miles 9. Turn left on Windsor St. to stay on WIS Hwy 19 10. Head west on Windsor St./WIS Hwy 19 for 5.4 miles 11. Turn left onto Williamsburg Way 2. Head south on Williamsburg Way (take Williamsburg Way exit at roundabout) for 0.6 miles 13. Turn left onto Token Creek Ln. to enter park 14. Follow Token Creek Ln. for 0.9 miles through park (speed limit in park is 15 mph) 15.   • 46. Directions to Reindahl Park (Field Events) from Crowne Plaza Madison (approximately .3 miles / 10 minute walk) 1. Reindahl Park is only 0.3 miles west of the host hotel, so please consider taking a short walk! 2. If driving, take either East Washington Ave (in front of hotel) or Dwight Dr. (behind hotel) southwest for a couple of blocks to Portage Rd. 3. Turn right on Portage Rd. 4. Reindahl Park is on your left. Please utilize the park entrance off of Portage Rd. on the northeast side of the park, directly across from Duke St. 5. Field Event HQ will be in a large PDGA tent near one of the two large parking lots. Please check-in there for directions to the various events. 6. Please DO NOT park in the parking lot accessed from Parkside Dr. in the southeast portion of the park, near the shelter and playground. We are reserving this lot for other park users.
