organizational performance.
The work place environment quality determine the level of motivation of employee, effectiveness of

between the involved peoples from top management to bottom level workers to achieve the mission and
vision of organization.
If organizations are striving to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their team worldwide they in
order to be globally competitive.
The purpose of this case study to determine the impact of organizational work environment and teamwork
on its performance with effective role of employee.
In this case study there are different factor of work environment are discussed to check their impact on
organizational performance.
Organizational performance is dependent variable, organizational work environment, team work are
independent variables and effective role of employee use as moderator.
6. Objectives of the Research
1. To find out the impact of Organizational work environment
on its performance.
2. To find out the impact of teamwork on organizational
performance.
3. To find out the combined effect of organizational work
environment and effective role of employee on organizational
performance.
4. To find out the combined effect of teamwork and effective
role of employee on organizational performance.
7. ProblemDefinition
All employees are have differences in their
personalities and they react based on these differences in
internal and external pressures that exit in organization
where they work. Who impact the organization
performance.
Better two against one, because they have good
results for their hard work in any organization.
8. Scope of theStudy
In order to study the variables of this research, sample of population
and data collection is done from an oil and gas sector individuals
(Employees) based in Rawalpindi.
Data is collected with the help of existing literature review and
Adopted questionnaires.
The results are evaluated by using IBM data analysis software SPSS.
Data analysis and results of this study are based on data collected
from oil and gas sector individuals from oil and gas organizations
based in Rawalpindi.
9. This study adopted a deductive approach known as testing a theory,
in which the researcher develops a theory or hypotheses and
designs a research strategy to test the formulated theory.
Data collection method used for the research area is quantitative
which is concerned to the deductive approach (Fisher, 2004).
The survey strategy was used to answer the research questions.
A developed questionnaire helped to measure influence of
independent variables on dependent variable with moderating role
of moderator.

11. Methodology
Methodology of research is based on “Research Onion Model”
developed by (Saunders et al, 2003).
Research onion model is consists of 6 layers.
Each and every layer of the research onion model is consists of
different choices to select from.

13. Results Analysis
Response Rate
Out of total 280 questionnaires distributed, 205 questionnaires are
received for analyze data, response rate is 73.21 %. Response rate of
73.21 % is considered very good, on the basis of discussions by
(Mugenda & Mugenda, 2003) and (Saunders et al , 2009) who says
that a response of 50 % is acceptable but the response rate above 50
% reach to 60 % is good and the response rate for this study is 73.21
% is considered very good.
16. Results Analysis
Correlation Analysis
Organizational work environment has strong positive relationship
with organizational performance with r=.633**, p<0.01 and on the
other hand team work has positive relationship with organizational
performance with r= 0.441**, p<0.01. Effective role of employee
correlates with organizational performance with r= .676**, p<0.01.
17. Results Analysis
Regression Analysis
For the answer of questions develop in this research study and address the study
objective, four hypothesis were tested and results of the data are discussed in this
section. Regression analysis was conducted with coefficients Beta (β), R2 and ΔR2
are reported. Hypothesis are accepted or rejected on the basis of p=significance
values.

Summary of Hypotheses
19. Results Analysis
H1: Organizational work environment has significant positive
impact on its performance.
Regression analysis shows Beta value of β = .265** with P<0.01.
The beta values shows significant positive impact of organizational work
environment on its performance.
In the light of regression analysis the organizational work environment has
influence on its performance, so the first hypothesis is accepted.
20. H2: Teamwork has significant positive impact on organizational performance.
Regression analysis shows Beta Value of β = .119** with P<0.01.
Teamwork is positively influence organizational performance but to a lesser extent
than organizational work environment with β =.265**.
In the light of regression analysis the team work has positive influence on
organizational performance, so the second hypothesis is accepted with β =.119**,
p<0.01.
Results Analysis
21. H3: Effective Role of Employee Moderate the relationship of
Organizational work environment and Organizational
Performance.
The moderating effect is evaluated on the approach of (Baron & Kenny, 1986) for
testing the main effect and the interaction terms of independent
variable and moderator.
Regression analysis shows that effective role of employee has not moderating
effect in the relationship of organizational work environment and its performance
with beta value β = -.071, p<.05.
In the light of regression analysis the Effective role of employee not moderates the
relation of organizational work environment and organizational Performance, so
the third hypothesis is not accepted with β = -.071 p<.05.
Results Analysis
22. Results Analysis
H4: Effective role of employee moderates the relation
of Teamwork and Organizational Performance.
Regression analysis shows that effective role of employee influence the
relationship of teamwork and organizational performance with beta
value β =.190**, p<0.001.
In the light of regression analysis of Effective role of employee moderate the
relationship of teamwork and Organizational Performance, the
hypothesis is accepted with β =.190**, p<0.001.
24. Results of current research suggest that in oil and gas sectors,
• There is a positive significant relationship between
organizational work environment and organization performance.
• Organization work environment has influence the organizational
performance.
• With reference of interaction term effective role of employee not
influence the organizational performance and has no moderating
impact on the relationship between organization work
environment and organization performance.
Conclusion
25. Results of regression analysis conclude that in oil and gas sector,
• Teamwork has significant impact of organization performance.
• Teamwork will result in less chances in increase organization
performance than organization work environment.
• With the reference of interaction term effective role of
employee has effect on organization performance and effective
role of employee also influence on the relationship between
teamwork and organizational performance.
Conclusion
26. In oil and gas sector, organizational work environment is more important than
teamwork in achieving organization performance.
• By developing a better work environment will effectively and efficiently
lead organization and will successfully deliver organization products,
services.
• Work environment is more influence the performance of organization
against teamwork, so need to management focus on improve the work
environment from good to best, best to better and better to excellent.
• In oil and gas sectors, client’s requirements are challenging and high degree
of innovation is required to satisfy clients regarding fuel and fuel
characteristics who just full filled with high quality work environment
and state of the art technology.
Managerial Implications
27. • Teamwork helps team members to achieve extra ordinary
goals.
