Background of the study
 The concept of managerial efficiency is developed and
introduced along with leadership proficiency and teaming
effect of
corporate
proficiency its full measure is the combined
management, Teaming and leadership skills on
productivity.
 Teaming skill and leadership skill are also new conceptual
models that look inside managerial efficiency as regards their
partial, separate impact on managerial efficiency, and allow
comparison of managerial efficiency to other management
theories (Simon R Mouer, 2006).

Statements of problem
 According to Hussami.(2008) cited byAnjum, S. (2014) employees
want supervisors /managers who are collaborative, communicate
and develop bonds with subordinates. This leads one to think about
the importance of people skills or social skills, because without
these skills, a manager lacks behind in communicating,
collaborating and motivating subordinates.
 The results of previous studies from different countries show that
different styles of leadership or management do not have the same
impact on job satisfaction (Stogdill, 1970; Walder, 1995).

 In general , the researcher has tried to see the output effect of
managerial efficiency on employees job satisfaction in commercial
Bank of Ethiopia, Lega Tafo Subcity branches in that most of the
researches conducted in this area fail to see exactly how the effect
level of managerial efficiency affect employees job satisfaction. A
research by Anjum, S. (2014) has focused on the Effect of
Manager‟s Social Skills on Employee's Job Satisfaction but not
considered the effect of managerial efficiency on employees‟ job
satisfaction

Research by Ralph A. Sabio (2013), has focused on
managerial skills and job satisfaction are related and
(Belete.T, 2014) has focused on effect of work overload
on employees‟ job satisfaction in Commercial Bank of
Ethiopia; Therefore, the intention of this study is to
assess the effect of managerial efficiency on employee‟s
job satisfaction of commercial bank of Ethiopa, Lega
Tafo Subcity branches.
1.3. Research Questions
 This study is designed in answering the following research
questions:
1. What is the effect level of managerial skill on employees‟job
satisfaction in achieving the organization's objectives and goals?
2. To what extent does leadership influences employees‟ job
satisfaction in different levels of management?
3. What is the effect level of team work has on employees‟job
satisfaction?
4. How does the overall managerial efficiency affect employees‟
job satisfaction?

Objective of the study
General objective
The general objective of this study to assess the effect of managerial
efficiency on employees‟ job satisfaction in the case of commercial
Bank of Ethiopia, Lega Tafo Subcity branches
Specific objectives
1. To find out the effect level of managerial skill on employees‟ job
satisfaction
2. To evaluate the influences of leadership skill on employees‟
satisfaction
3. To assess the effect of team work on job satisfaction of employees
4. To investigate the effect level of managerial efficiency on
employees job satisfaction in commercial bank of Ethiopia Lega
Tafo Subcity branches

Significance of the study

Itprovides an important insight in identifying important bank
managers' efficiency to satisfy their employees.
 It‘s important to the concerned body as an input for good
performance.

Conceptual frameworks
The effect of independent variables i.e. management skill, teaming skill and
leadership skill on the dependent variable employee's job satisfaction has
been investigated using multiple regression analysis. So it is found that, the
overall managerial efficiency have bigger impact on employees job
satisfaction.
Based on the overall review of related literatures and the theory's, the
following conceptual framework in which this specific study governed is
developed. As explained in the literature, effect of managerial efficiency on
employees‟ job satisfaction.

Therefore in this study managerial efficiency will be
taken as dependent variable while, managerial efficiency
as independent variable. In the independent variable
managerial efficiency includes Management
,Leadership skill, Teaming skill, Work and
skill
work
condition, Payment Policy and management, Reward and
recognition and Interpersonal relation eighty dimensions
Involvement, Consistency, Adaptability and Mission.
The relationship of the variable for this study is proposed
to as follows.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGYAND DESIGN
Research design
 Research design is the arrangement of conditions
for collection and analysis of data in a manner
that aims to combine relevance to the research
purpose with economy in procedure.
 In this study, research design used:-
 Explanatory design

Target Population
The target populations of the study were comprises two types of
respondents: all permanent employees and managers who are
responsible for the organization. Have a total of 91 permanent
employees in branches of Lega Tafo Subcity

Sampling technique
Census method is the method of statistical enumeration where
all members of the population are studied.
The census is a systematic method that collects and records
the data about the members of the population.
(Creswell, 2009) define that it is the way of drawing inference
about a population without studying the entire population
under study.
 This study was use a technical of census sampling technique.

Data type and Source
 The study has used primary and secondary source of
data. primary sources data which were collected from
CBE Lega Tafo Subcity branches employees through
questionnaires to investigate the effect of managerial
efficiency on employees‟ satisfaction, and from
managers of the organization through questionnaire.

Secondary source (analysis of relevant published and
unpublished documents like different journals, books,
previous researches and others were used.
Method of Data Analysis
The data gathered from respondents was analyzed by
using:-
1. (SPSS) Statistical Package for SocialScience V 20
2. Descriptive statistical techniques
3. Inferential statistical techniques

FINDING
 According to correlation coefficients (r= 942) shows
that managerial efficiency was strongly and positively
correlated with employees job satisfaction.
 According to regression analysis the degree of influence
that managerial efficiency is shown by R square as
0.932 meaning among many factors affecting job
satisfaction, managerial efficiency has 93.2% influence
on job satisfaction of employees while 6.8% of the
deviation is resulted from other variables which are not
included in this study.

The effect of independent variables i.e. management
skill, teaming skill and leadership skill on the dependent
variable employee’s job satisfaction has been
investigated using multiple regression analysis. So it is
found that, the overall managerial efficiency have bigger
impact on employees job satisfaction.

 The result of the study generally shows that there is clearly
shown effect of managerial efficiency on employee's job
satisfaction in the study area.
 Moreover the regression analysis shows that there are about
three major managerial efficiency that affecting employee's job
satisfactions. These are management skill, teaming skill and
leadership skill. Teaming skill and leadership skill have
significant effect on dependent variable (employee's job
satisfaction).while management skill has insignificant effect on
employee's job satisfaction.
Conclusion
 The study assess the Effect of managerial efficiency on
employee job satisfaction.
 Based up on the data analysis and discussion made in chapter
four the researcher has concluded on the major findings of
managerial efficiency effect on employees job satisfaction in the
case of commercial bank of Ethiopia Lega Tafo Subcity
branches, Lega Tafo ,Adebabay ,Harbu Guba and Dele Dembel
branch as evidence of the study like the following.

 Management skill can affect employees‟ job satisfaction with low
level.
 Leadership skill can be seen as big factor which highly affect
employees job satisfaction.
 Teaming skill can highly affect employees‟ job satisfaction. It
shows that it can affect job satisfaction with greater level than
other independent variable.
 The managerial efficiency and employee's job satisfaction have
strongly positive relationship.

Recommendation
According to the results and conclusion made, the following
recommendations are given that strength and improve the managerial
efficiency to improve the employee job satisfaction.
1. The managers should provide emotionally energetic to motivate
others
2. Managers should be effective detailed aspects of his work.
3. Managers should make fair decisions based on relationship with
the people involved and improve way of achieving organizational
goals.

4.In addition to this, since the Teaming skill and leadership skill
provide to be a major factor that influences job satisfaction.
5.Generally, the bank managers should have to develop teaming and
leadership skill, through training and being receptive to new ideas.
Although the bank should have to do all its bests to let the employees
be satisfied in there day to day operations in the organization.
Areas of Future Research

 The first suggestion for future research would be to extend the
scope of sample data.
 In this study, the survey was conducted only on assessing the
Effect of managerial efficiency on employee job satisfaction in
Commercial bank of Ethiopia Lega Tafo Subcity branches.

Background of the study  The concept of managerial efficiency is developed and introduced along with leadership proficiency and teaming effect of corporate proficiency its full measure is the combined management, Teaming and leadership skills on productivity.  Teaming skill and leadership skill are also new conceptual models that look inside managerial efficiency as regards their partial, separate impact on managerial efficiency, and allow comparison of managerial efficiency to other management theories (Simon R Mouer, 2006). 4
  • 5. Statements of problem  According to Hussami.(2008) cited byAnjum, S. (2014) employees want supervisors /managers who are collaborative, communicate and develop bonds with subordinates. This leads one to think about the importance of people skills or social skills, because without these skills, a manager lacks behind in communicating, collaborating and motivating subordinates.  The results of previous studies from different countries show that different styles of leadership or management do not have the same impact on job satisfaction (Stogdill, 1970; Walder, 1995). 5

Statement of the problem……………cont’d  In general , the researcher has tried to see the output effect of managerial efficiency on employees job satisfaction in commercial Bank of Ethiopia, Lega Tafo Subcity branches in that most of the researches conducted in this area fail to see exactly how the effect level of managerial efficiency affect employees job satisfaction. A research by Anjum, S. (2014) has focused on the Effect of Manager‟s Social Skills on Employee's Job Satisfaction but not considered the effect of managerial efficiency on employees‟ job satisfaction 6

Sabio (2013), has focused on managerial skills and job satisfaction are related and (Belete.T, 2014) has focused on effect of work overload on employees‟ job satisfaction in Commercial Bank of Ethiopia; Therefore, the intention of this study is to assess the effect of managerial efficiency on employee‟s job satisfaction of commercial bank of Ethiopa, Lega Tafo Subcity branches.
  • 8. 1.3. Research Questions  This study is designed in answering the following research questions: 1. What is the effect level of managerial skill on employees‟job satisfaction in achieving the organization's objectives and goals? 2. To what extent does leadership influences employees‟ job satisfaction in different levels of management? 3. What is the effect level of team work has on employees‟job satisfaction? 4. How does the overall managerial efficiency affect employees‟ job satisfaction? 8

  • 10. Significance of the study  Itprovides an important insight in identifying important bank managers' efficiency to satisfy their employees.  It‘s important to the concerned body as an input for good performance. 10

Conceptual frameworks The effect of independent variables i.e. management skill, teaming skill and leadership skill on the dependent variable employee's job satisfaction has been investigated using multiple regression analysis. So it is found that, the overall managerial efficiency have bigger impact on employees job satisfaction. Based on the overall review of related literatures and the theory's, the following conceptual framework in which this specific study governed is developed. As explained in the literature, effect of managerial efficiency on employees‟ job satisfaction. 11
  • 12. Cont’d 12 Therefore in this study managerial efficiency will be taken as dependent variable while, managerial efficiency as independent variable. In the independent variable managerial efficiency includes Management ,Leadership skill, Teaming skill, Work and skill work condition, Payment Policy and management, Reward and recognition and Interpersonal relation eighty dimensions Involvement, Consistency, Adaptability and Mission. The relationship of the variable for this study is proposed to as follows.
  • 14. RESEARCH METHODOLOGYAND DESIGN Research design  Research design is the arrangement of conditions for collection and analysis of data in a manner that aims to combine relevance to the research purpose with economy in procedure.  In this study, research design used:-  Explanatory design 14
  • 15. Target Population The target populations of the study were comprises two types of respondents: all permanent employees and managers who are responsible for the organization. Have a total of 91 permanent employees in branches of Lega Tafo Subcity 15
  • 16. Sampling technique Census method is the method of statistical enumeration where all members of the population are studied. The census is a systematic method that collects and records the data about the members of the population. (Creswell, 2009) define that it is the way of drawing inference about a population without studying the entire population under study.  This study was use a technical of census sampling technique. 16

Data type and Source  The study has used primary and secondary source of data. primary sources data which were collected from CBE Lega Tafo Subcity branches employees through questionnaires to investigate the effect of managerial efficiency on employees‟ satisfaction, and from managers of the organization through questionnaire. 17

  • 19. Method of Data Analysis The data gathered from respondents was analyzed by using:- 1. (SPSS) Statistical Package for SocialScience V 20 2. Descriptive statistical techniques 3. Inferential statistical techniques 19

FINDING  According to correlation coefficients (r= 942) shows that managerial efficiency was strongly and positively correlated with employees job satisfaction.  According to regression analysis the degree of influence that managerial efficiency is shown by R square as 0.932 meaning among many factors affecting job satisfaction, managerial efficiency has 93.2% influence on job satisfaction of employees while 6.8% of the deviation is resulted from other variables which are not included in this study. 20

So it is found that, the overall managerial efficiency have bigger impact on employees job satisfaction.

Summary………..Cont’d 22  The result of the study generally shows that there is clearly shown effect of managerial efficiency on employee's job satisfaction in the study area.  Moreover the regression analysis shows that there are about three major managerial efficiency that affecting employee's job satisfactions. These are management skill, teaming skill and leadership skill. Teaming skill and leadership skill have significant effect on dependent variable (employee's job satisfaction).while management skill has insignificant effect on employee's job satisfaction.

Conclusion  The study assess the Effect of managerial efficiency on employee job satisfaction.  Based up on the data analysis and discussion made in chapter four the researcher has concluded on the major findings of managerial efficiency effect on employees job satisfaction in the case of commercial bank of Ethiopia Lega Tafo Subcity branches, Lega Tafo ,Adebabay ,Harbu Guba and Dele Dembel branch as evidence of the study like the following. 23
  • 24.  Management skill can affect employees‟ job satisfaction with low level.  Leadership skill can be seen as big factor which highly affect employees job satisfaction.  Teaming skill can highly affect employees‟ job satisfaction. It shows that it can affect job satisfaction with greater level than other independent variable.  The managerial efficiency and employee's job satisfaction have strongly positive relationship. Recommendation According to the results and conclusion made, the following recommendations are given that strength and improve the managerial efficiency to improve the employee job satisfaction. 1. The managers should provide emotionally energetic to motivate others 2. Managers should be effective detailed aspects of his work. 3. Managers should make fair decisions based on relationship with the people involved and improve way of achieving organizational goals. 25

Recommendation……….cont’d 26 4.In addition to this, since the Teaming skill and leadership skill provide to be a major factor that influences job satisfaction. 5.Generally, the bank managers should have to develop teaming and leadership skill, through training and being receptive to new ideas. Although the bank should have to do all its bests to let the employees be satisfied in there day to day operations in the organization.

Areas of Future Research 27  The first suggestion for future research would be to extend the scope of sample data.  In this study, the survey was conducted only on assessing the Effect of managerial efficiency on employee job satisfaction in Commercial bank of Ethiopia Lega Tafo Subcity branches.
