1. If all of the world’s cultural heritage
(sports, music, fashion, architecture, literatur
e, painting, etc..) was contained in a time
capsule, what would you include to
demonstrate the legacy of your country?
For this question I decided to express my ideas
in pictures
Hope this humble slides show will add some
interesting facts of my home town and cultural
habits.
All pictures are taken in Alqatif

Alqatif is located in the east provinces of Saudi
Arabia, right on the Persian Gulf inthe Arabian
peninsula’s side.
Alqatif includes the main city (Alqatif), besides many
other villages and Tarout island.
The two most jobs occupied were fishing and
farming, also there were others such as;
welding, work shop, bakery, and carpenters.
They were using different transporting means, for
example: donkeys, horses, and primitive cars and
bicycles.

work, welding, baking, oil selling, and pots
hand making.
13. Last but not least, Souq Alkamees as you can see in the
pictures below, two different eras, this shopping plaza where
you can find almost everything you are looking for, been and
still a milestone for Alqatif
