To whom it may concern
I taught Aleksandra Łuczak for three years – first during the second and third years of
her BA studies and then during the second year of her MA studies in The Philological
School of Higher Education in Wrocław (Wyższa Szkoła Filologiczna we Wrocławiu).
Over the three years I had many classes with Aleksandra. The subjects were
Methodology of teaching English as a second language, Didactics of the second
language and project work in the Glottodidactics Society Language Cracker. In my
work I use active methods, including educational projects.
Aleksandra is a gifted student, she studies diligently and learns fast, always striving for
excellence and usually achieving it. The educational project in which she took part
consisted in writing a film script and making an amateur film to gain experience for
future work with school students of different ages. While working on the project, she
proved to be creative and resourceful as well as well-organized and responsible.
During teamwork she used her considerable interpersonal skills. As the best student
of methodology in the second year of her MA studies, she got the highest grade on our
scale (grade 6 – excellent).
Alexandra has got experience in teaching. Her professional knowledge and skills as
well as her outgoing personality and enthusiasm make her teaching very effective and
her students – highly satisfied.
The applicant likes challenges. She copes well with stress. She uses constructive
strategies to solve problems and is not hindered by difficulties. I am sure Aleksandra
is an excellent candidate for many jobs requiring diligence and patience as well as
resourcefulness, responsibility and enthusiasm.
