2. Erwin Schrödinger
o He was born on August 12th 1887 in Austria
o He was an Austrian physicist who won a Nobel prize.
o He settled some developments in the field of quantum theory.
o He died on January 4th 1961 in Austria
4. QUANTUM MECHANICS
Quantum mechanics: Quantum theory is the theoretical basis of modern
physics that explains the nature and behavior of matter and energy on
the atomic and subatomic level. The nature and behavior of matter and
energy at that level is sometimes referred to as quantum physics and
quantum mechanics
5. Copenhagen
• The Copenhagen interpretation is an expression of the meaning of quantum mechanics that was
largely devised in the years 1925 to 1927 by Niels Bohr and Werner Heisenberg. It remains one of
the most commonly taught interpretations of quantum mechanics.
• According to the Copenhagen interpretation, physical systems generally do not have definite
properties prior to being measured, and quantum mechanics can only predict the probabilities
that measurements will produce certain results
