I joined Scotlynn Value Chain during its infancy and was responsible for
buying and selling to various customers throughout Canada and the USA.
My goal was to provide a full outsource of the sale from procurement of the
product to transportation, customs clearance and all other aspects involved.
We were experts in time sensitive temp controlled freight. We offered our
customers a delivered price for goods and we managed all aspects of
sourcing, inspection, care and control over their product.

. I joined the Fresh Advancements Group as their Broker for Imports. I was
responsible for all aspects of their international imports from several countries including
Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, France and China. I worked to develop strong relationships
with shippers overseas.
I set up all the import permits and T&E bonds to allow these imports to clear customs.
Worked with Steamship lines and airlines to execute delivery of product as fast as
possible. In the fall of 2010 Fresh Advancements restructured the business and I assumed
the role of Assistant Manager of their third stall on the Ontario Food Terminal. My
responsibilities included buying, selling, inventory control and quality control for the
items I purchased.
