- 4. Reorder Point Planning Methods A reorder point (ROP) is the minimum unit quantity that a business should have in available inventory before they need to reorder more product. The formula to calculate reorder point is the sum of lead time demand and safety stock in days. It is generally used for costly item. It is always implemented at organization level. Lead time can be anything like a single day, 3 days, weekly, or a monthly. Minimize costs. Minimize stockouts. Better forecasting. Copyright Birlasoft 20194 4/22/2020
- 5. Below Step Follow :- Create the Item. Set Planning Parameters. Create the Forecast. Safety Stock (Optional ). Run the Re-order point Planning. Check the Planning Report. Import the Requisition. Check the Requisition. Copyright Birlasoft 20195 4/22/2020
- 6. Select import Attribute :-Go to inventory Tab > Tick the header Attribute (As shown in below )> Copyright Birlasoft 20196 4/22/2020

- 10. Define Forecasts sets> Navigation >INV Responsibility>Planning>Forecast>sets>then click on the sets if we try we will get below error Copyright Birlasoft 201910 4/22/2020

- 13. • Now go to the Forecast>Sets>create any Forecast set Name (ASP_FST )> save it • Click on the Forcast Items Copyright Birlasoft 201913 4/22/2020
- 14. • Click on the Forecast item & give item details shown below Copyright Birlasoft 201914 4/22/2020 Enter the Re-Order Item (i.e. ASP_00080)

- 21. Select Item > Forecast > safety stock % > OK (Note :- Forecast column ,we need to give the Forecast name(ASP_FST001) & not Forecast set name) Copyright Birlasoft 201921 4/22/2020

- 24. Requisition Import :-Navigation >Purchasing Resp>Go to the View >Run the Request > Copyright Birlasoft 201924 4/22/2020
