− Conduct RCA if any delay
Projects: Provided consultancy to a Salesforce client. Worked on two projects with them
1. Worked with foundations to help them to understand Salesforce use and how to get the most out of it.
2. Built an application using Salesforce, where Patients can collaborate with Doctor’s using Salesforce community.
Patients can have real time discussion with their doctors. All their information was saved at one place. If required
Doctors can share the details with the Experts to get advice. All the information was private in nature and could
only be shared with the consent of the patient. Patient and doctors could also participate in disease specific
“Groups”.
3. At IBM, Bangalore, India as Application Developer
Client: Well Point (Virginia Mainframes)
Tenure: Since Apr’13
Tools: Salesforce, COBOL, JCL, DB2, CA7, VSAM, CICS, endeavor, Clear Quest
Brief: It’s basically a Datawarehouse project. Our system is known as PPR. Its a reporting system where
we get details from upstream system and we need to send the details out to different
downstream system. Mostly deal with enhancement work with occasional development
Role:
• Do Requirement Gathering with client and perform the HLD & LLD for the project
• Introduced Salesforce to the project and now more avenues are being researched for implementation.
• Participate in full software life cycle from requirement, analysis, development, testing and implementation.
• Mentor new resources to get at par with the requirement
• I am Defect coordinator where my job is to track all the requests for a particular release and conduct a RCA meet if any
major issues where faced.
• I am also Quality coordinator for my team. My responsibility is to make sure that the projects follow the proper
process standards.
• Acted as the critical POC for ICD10 implementation.
• Perform Impact analysis on enhancement/new development.
• Provide Cost estimation based on the complexity.
• Create monthly report which is submitted to the Project manager. Highlights the progress of the current projects and
its deviation if any. The report also captures the defects and helps to realize if it’s within the permissible limits.
• Conduct surprise audit and configuration Management audit every month to ensure all the projects
• Applied LEAN methodologies for ICD10 project which resulted in saving analysis hours.
Salesforce Project
Project: Project and document Management was a very tedious process in the project. There were
multiple access points which lacked proper visibility to the higher management. In turn making
this a manual process. I built a basic app which connects the higher management with each and
every member of the project more effectively. Project management and document management
were more streamlined. This effectively made a one-stop solution for the project as well as for
audit purpose.
Six Sigma Projects
Project: The number of defects were on rise and there were no possible answer. Conducted Pareto
Analysis on the types of defects and realized it was due to the incomplete impact analysis. For the
ICD10 project, created a complex process flow for all the impacted interrelated systems to PPR
and the detailed job flow. This helped in reduction in time taken for impact analysis and helped
us deliver the first phase before time. Introduced the same flow to rest of the project parallel
running in the team and the results were visible. Total defects captured came down considerably.
Project: Management and client wanted to reduce the number of hours consumed for the analysis work.
Did a pareto analysis on defects captured and found out that the hours can be reduced more on
the analysis side as well as the initial test data set up. Helped in creation of a tool which
automatically unloads the data to test environment. This helped in reduction of around 20%
hours. Also created the process flow which improved the productivity and decreased the amount
of hours taken for analysis.
