2. Introduction
In the current scenario, India is developing at a fast pace. The government has been taking various efforts in order to
move to a digitalize economy. Here the biggest Innitative is digital money transfer, digital money means any form of
money or payment that exists purely in electronic form. It is stored and transfered through digital form. Thus digital
money transfer is the electronic transfer of money enterly through a network. Now a days people have started using
different type of digital mechansium like debit card, credit card, e-wallet.. These electronic modes of payment are
mostly used for all kind of goods and service, usage of such e-money has grown drastically in the past few years. Here
in this paper, we will discuss the perception and satisfaction level of women towards the same.
Women have been cautious about building theirs on a career. They are ready to breaking all the barriers when it
comes to earning money. Women have realised the importance of digital money in their career due to ease In
availability of internet connectivity and an increase in the usage of smartphones.
This project is an attempt to evaluate the participation and usage of digital money transfer among women with
special reference to Edakkara panchayat. Edakkara is emerging as one of the main townships in the eranad region under
nilambur taluk of Malappuram district.
3. Significance of the study
India is the seventh-largest country in the world by geographical area. It is the
second most populated country with 1380004385 people. Here women constitute
48.1% of the population. It is noticeable that Kerala share of female in total
population 52.02% of the total population in Kerala are female which is higher than
the national percentage of 48.53%.so our national development is possible only
through the development of women.
The literacy rate is 100%, where Malappuram is the first district to achieve 100%
literacy in IT. In 2016 the volume of digital money transaction is 5.93 billion it
increased to 35 billons in 2020. So the study is highly relevant to examine the
perception and satisfaction level of digital money transfer among women. It also
helps to understand whether the digital era has made them socially empowered or
not.
4. Statement of the problem
In our state Malappuram district is the first district to declare as 100% literacy
in IT. Women participation in IT fields is increased. This study will examine the
level of satisfaction and usage of digital money among working women and to
analyse whether the information technology has lad to the development of
women or not.
5. Study objective
To know awareness of digital money transfer among women.
To examine the participation and usage of digital money transfer among
women.
To identify the factors influencing for Choose cashless transaction among
women.
To examine the challenges faced by women by using digital transfer.
To examine the satisfaction level of women towards digital money transfer.
6. Research design and Methodology
Scope of the Study
The study will be conducted among the women in Edakkara grama panchayath
under eranad taulk Malappuram district.

The method used for the research is snowball sampling.
Sampling size
To determine the population size of working women in edakkara grams panchayat is
scattered and impossible: therefore the investigator has decided to select Snowball
sampling. Thus the sample size selected for this study has been restricted to 100.
7. Research design and Methodology
Methodology
The study is based on primary and secondary data. The primary data will be
collected through a questionnaire specially designed for this survey. Secondary data
will be gathered from the relevant journals, website, and other sources.
Tool For analysis
Tool for data collection: structured questionnaire and face to face interview is used.
Too for analysis: Anova, chi-square.
Tool for presentation: graph, diagram, tables and percentage analysis.
