1. Scope 1
Project Scope
Aileen Aparicio
A Project Scope Statement is essential for any project. Project managers use scope
statement as written confirmation of the results your project will produce in its
constraints, assumptions; which under your project will work. The project manager should
also agree to all terms in the scope statement before actual project work begins.
The problem with creating a list of project activities is when the list is given to
someone else; the list would be fine for the person who made the list not the entire project
team. The team may have a better approach or not understand why you are going about the
project activities in a certain way.
Breakdown Structure
Some dangers in creating poor work breakdown structures are too much work. If
the task is going to take too much time, this is counterproductive and could jeopardize the
entire project. The WBS allows each team member clear project assignments and keeps
everyone on task.
Student Scope Life
In student life scope project divides into time management for all assignments,
consistency of work, and breaking down work assignments. This assignment allows me the
practice of being a project manager and if this career would be a good fit for me. Also, too
much information can create a project scope disaster. To keep the project or idea from
getting to big, has been a lesson I have learned and applied to my education.
