Please find enclosed your renewed/restored certificate of registration issued under the Property,
Stock and Business Agents Act 2002 (the Act). The certificate will remain current until the expiry
date specified unless it is sooner suspended, cancelled or surrendered.
Your certificate of registration is subject to the following condition as well as any other conditions
endorsed on your certificate or imposed by the Act or Regulation:
 During each year the holder of this certificate must complete further educational training
relating to the activities that may be carried on under this certificate. The suitability of that
education and the manner of calculating the time spent on it must satisfy the requirements
specified in the Director-General's Guidelines for Continuing Professional Development.
You may only perform the activities of a certificate of registration holder whilst in the employment
of and under the supervision of an appropriately licensed person under the Act.
You must also advise NSW Fair Trading of any changes to your postal, residential and/or
registered office/employment address(es) within two weeks of the change. Change of address
forms are available from www.fairtrading.nsw.gov.au. You can find the form on the website by
entering Property Services Forms in the search field.
Your certificate is due to expire on 12/11/2017.
Fair Trading will provide you with the necessary Renewal/Restoration form approximately four
weeks before this date. However, if you do not receive this form two weeks prior to the
certificate’s expiry date, the onus is on you to contact Fair Trading to request another copy of the
form.
If you do not renew your certificate by the expiry date, your certificate will expire. An expired
certificate of registration can be restored only during a three month restoration period after its
expiry date. If your certificate does expire it will be an offence for you to be, represent as, act as
or exercise any of the functions of a certificate of registration holder if you do not hold a current
certificate under the Act.
