Kelebek Mobilya, a Turkish furniture brand established in 1935, is seeking new owners. The company was bought by two businessmen in Kayseri six years ago as the Ozbıyık family owned most shares. Kelebek Mobilya announced they are in talks to transfer shares or form a partnership with International Furniture BV and Doğtaş, both based in the Netherlands. The company began as a plywood producer for airplane wings and has factories producing kitchen and furniture facilities on 180,000 square meters of open area and 40,000 square meters of covered area in Duzce.
